ZAPPED AGAIN! is a sequel to the hit movie ZAPPED!, which starred '80s teen heartthrobs Scott Baio and Willie Aames. This time around the hero is Kevin (Todd Eric Andrews), the new kid in town who's being tormented by resident high school bullies. One day the bullies force Kevin to drink some bright green liquid found in the science vault, but unbeknownst to them, the prank has some unforeseen consequences. Kevin develops supernatural powers that he then uses to get revenge--and have some fun with the prom queen in the process.
Kevin, the new guy, has only one friend, Lucy, and is tormented on a daily basis by resident bullies at Ralph Waldo Emerson High. One day the bullies force Kevin to drink a bright green, disgusting tasting liquid. Patrick Dempsey stars in this light farce as Randy Bodek, a college student who's alienated his father (Robert Ginty) by doing poorly in school; consequently, tuition payments have been cut off, leading Randy to take a job as a pizza delivery boy for the summer. One day he encounters Ms. Alex Barnett (Barbara Carrera), who asks for more than pizza when he shows up to make a delivery. Later she sets him up in business, passing his card around to other bored, wealthy Beverly Hills women--and the enterprising youth realizes he'll be able to pay for his entire education by simply living up to his name. The women, who include Kirstie Alley and Carrie Fisher, also teach him to replace his boorish persona with a more civilized demeanor. Dempsey proves himself an able farceur in this comic romp that also features a sombrero-shaped delivery truck.
A lighthearted comedy. Randy Bodek lives every pizza delivery boy's fantasy: delivering pizza and love to lonely women. The women include Carrie Fisher, Kate Jackson and Kirstie Alley.
