(1 Customer Review)
Digitally remastered by Dan Hersch and Bill Inglot (Digiprep).
One of the key artists of the late-1980s New York City hip-hop scene, Big Daddy Kane won over a considerable audience with his first two albums, LONG LIVE THE KANE and IT'S A BIG DADDY THING. This well-selected collection draws heavily from those records, giving listeners a potent dose of Kane's smooth, ladies'-man persona on tracks such as the cool, confident "Ain't No Half Steppin'" and the frenetic "I Get the Job Done." Particularly for those who don't own those discs, this is the perfect overview of some of the Big Daddy's finest moments.

Very Best Of Big Daddy Kane CD music
$11.15 Four leading music labels in Riviera Beach, FL joined forces in early 2007 to establish 56ACE Federation, a historic music alliance that is making huge waves in the Palm Beach County hip-hop scene. Chief Executive Officer Scotty 'Sco' Scott of Trak Killaz and Chief Operating Officer Donnell 'DMo' Moses of GoodFellaz Records spearhead The Federation that totes more than 20 members who have been doing music together for more than a decade and who grew up in the same crime-ridden streets of the town that is better known as Rawvera or just The Raw.Coming together to rally financial and networking resources, The Federation has instigated the largest hip-hop artist consortium in the area loaded with explosive club performances, radio airplay and on-air interviews. Armed with some of the hottest producers and fiercest MC's in town, The Federation made such an impression on Freeway of Roc-A-Fella Records that he chose to make a guest appearance on one of the group's songs. The five music labels that make up 56ACE Federation are:Trak Killaz - A well-known group of talented and creative producers that have a combined music experience of more than five decades. Although Trak Killaz is composed of Sco, Lynn, JMo and SHOUT-CHEEZY, the squad constantly teams up with other of the area's most brilliant producers such as M.G., TAVIS SHORTER and ACE to make tracks that command attention. Spearheaded by Lynn, Trak Killaz has become one of the best known music studios in the area in only two years after its ...

$6.65 The pursuit to greatness is a life long journey. Starting from birth one is bestowed, through the parents and life experiences, the tools to ascend the ladder of greatness and leave a timeless mark on the fabric of history. Such is the case with the artist known to many as simply! Shot Out! E. Toriono Newkirk (Shot Out) was born in Jacksonville, Florida. As a child, Tori (as referred to by family and friends) traveled with his stepfather, Wesley Phillips, Sr., of "The East Coast Horn Section" on the road and began his training in the music business. In 1978, his stepfather, was hired by The Jackson Five. The job, although only lasting for 4 1/2 years, left a profound impact of Shot Out's stepfather from a career standpoint and would be the roots from which all of Shout Out's musical creativity would spring fourth. In 1993, Shot Out began recording, entering, and winning a number of talent shows across his region of the country. He was inspired to release a Maxi single in 1998 to test his local market in "Filthy Nasty Florida" and also to get a response musically. The Maxi Single was entitled "Shot Out" and featured his first two songs, "Shot Out" and "It Is". After recording numerous songs, Shot Out submitted a demo to an Independent Canadian Label called Cyber Music. The A&R selected his Reggae influenced track "Bite the Bullet" which yielded over 30,000 units sold in Canada. Shot Out released his first album "Escaping the Crab Pot" in 1999, utilizing the marketing strategies which included CD's, t-shirts, bandannas, and other Shot Out paraphernalia. Through those marketing ...

$5.99 Fidel CashflowThe unparalleled attraction to rap music has not withered, when it comes to Fidel Cashflow. Hailing from South Jamaica Queens, New York, Fidel displays an air of charisma, confidence, and clever wordplay that is not common to most. As a young rapper threatening to unseat his competition with his brutal and candid delivery, he joined talents with a few of his peers and formed several groups. But, after a few failed attempts as a group member and operating solely on the underground, he decided to position himself as a solo artist. Musically inclined from a very early age, Cashflow attributes his perseverance to his friends and fellow artists; Vic 'the Dutch' Vondoom (R.I.P.), Snipe the Stereotype, The Dreaded Rasta Arson, Lex Pete and Big Lou. In fact, it was Snipe who gave Fidel Cashflow his stage name. Cash is of Cuban decent, so both he and Snipe agreed that it was a perfect fit. After dropping a handful of mixtapes and independent albums, it was only natural the young firebrand would hit the stage and perform in the presence of major artists likeSnoop Dogg, Pitbull, Rakim, Twista, Ja Rule, OGC, DMX, and Master P. Subsequently, he began to headline shows from New York to Florida. Very comfortable on stage, Fidel Cashflow has mastered 'playing to the audience'. He knows how to give them what they want. From throwing money and prizes into the crowd, to having voluptuous and sexy dancers on stage, the audience gets just enough to beg for more. Fidel's rise from the underground is well documented with numerous mixtape appearances, airplay on internet, college and local radio stations. ...
