Revitalized Purple
You know the back story of this album from the other reviews: first album after Ritchie Blackmore's early 90's departure, enter Steve Morse of Dixie Dregs... the real impressive thing about Purpendicular: DP is inspired, willing to take risks while happy to maintain that legacy sound and succeeding gloriously more often than not.
