Geoff Randolph Do You Wonder Too? CD

I have been playing guitar and writing music since I was a teenager, but I didn’t really find my niche until I became a father. It seemed like every day there was something interesting, or amazing, or hilarious to write about as our children grew. Then as I started to take my music to school and with every visit there was something that happened that made me laugh or made me wonder. In all the years I have been performing my music I have been intrigued by the questions children ask and the things that they find amazing. That sense of wonder is a wonderful thing and it is surely what opens doors and sets our paths as we rumble through our lives. I have tried to capture that sense of wonder in this my second CD, Do you wonder, too?My real job, (my paying job), is in medicine. I am a plastic surgeon by day, and sometimes by night in the emergency room or operating room. It is a specialty in medicine that allows the blending of art and science every day and I really like that. It can be stressing, and that is where music comes in for me. It is a great stress buster and it lets me exercise areas in my brain that plastic surgeons don’t use on the job, unless I’m singing in the OR.Do you wonder,too? and my first CD Isn’t it Incredible? contain 25 songs that are about a lot of the things you and your children have done, or learned together or wondered about. I have tried to record music that won’t drive you crazy the tenth time you hear it, but I do hope you hear it that many times or more. Mostly I hope that this music will stimulate your child’s sense of wonder and maybe yours too.
