WOW WHAT A PREFORMANCE!!
I was at this show and the band was so solid and tight that night I was saying to myself that they should have recorded it, and at the time I did not know they did. it is definetely a treat to have this show captured. A must for all true Gillan fans. You may not have a chance to see these songs played again on stage live. Get this DVD, bonus cd of the show is included. GET THIS!

Wow, Wow, Wow …. Don’t miss this DVD,
Superb show, Gillian has not sounded or sang this good since the early 80’s. I really love the fact that he has tackled some of the most technically difficult songs to sing in a precise & amazing way, once you see the DVD you will understand. I don’t think there are any singers around hat can perform to this caliber & just bare in mind the guy has just past age of 60.
The band is tight with amazing players (where do they find them) The show is filmed with excellent camera work. The sound & picture is superb.
If you are a Deep Purple fan, Ian Gillian fan or any other you will find this to be one of the best performances of Gillian’s skills in a long long time.

Gillan In Fine Form!
During some down time for Deep Purple, vocalist Ian Gillan decided to rerecord some of his favorite solo and Purple tracks and put out a solo album.Having done that a short tour was in order. With the help of guitarist and "music director" Micheal Lee Jackson,Gillan put a rock and roll band together and hit the road the old fashion way.Get on a bus and go out and tour. What we have here is a show from yhat tour and I gotta say, man, what a smokin' band and set.All the Gillan(band) faves are here as well as a couple of rarely or never played Purple gems and some jams. The dvd sounds incredible and just looks fantastic. They guys on stage seem to realy be getting off on playing with each other and since it's Ian's show,he's not straddled singing some Purple songs he has too,but can't quite pull off anymore. This reviewer actually prefers this band's dvd to the last couple Deep purple releases! You really get the sense that Gillan and bandmates are very confident with the material and each other. Even a casual fan should enjoy this dvd. I know I had a smile on my face watching it.
