| | Eddie Cain Irvin The Middle CD Eddie Cain Irvin Discography of CDs
Eddie Cain Irvin from Buffalo, NY released his acoustic fourth CD, 'The Middle' at the beginning of 2003 by flooding his high school with copies. He had spent many days of his senior year by rushing upstairs to work on the album after school. Completely forgetting about doing any sort of homework, Eddie experimented with meshing ordinary instruments with the unexpected. Piano and vocals, guitar, viola, violin and cello fill out the album with their comforting familiar timbres, complemented by use of his grandfather's old record player, a thumb piano, a singing bowl, voices of close family and friends among other original sounds. High school came to a brilliant end with Eddie's performance of 'Lullaby' at a concert for the senior class, and as a packed house rose to their feet with applause, he knew this was just the beginning of his musical life. | | Andy Williams Christmas Album CD (1963) Remastered
The Middle music CDs
$6.09 Popular songs are often associated with the vocalists that made them famous but few artists actually have the distinction of having a "theme" song along the lines of Bob Hope with "Thanks for the Memories." Even fewer can claim to have two theme songs attached to them and Andy Williams is one of those fortunate stars. After "Moon River" became forever linked to Williams, he recorded a holiday song for his first Christmas album that gave him a yuletide hit and theme song. "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" was the right song at the right time for Williams when he began to perform it on his highly successful NBC Christmas specials that featured the whole Williams clan. Both the song and the television specials were so memorable, it wasn't long before Williams was crowned "Mr. Christmas." Of course having a full album of wonderful holiday songs perfectly performed doesn't hurt either and the Andy Williams Christmas Album was an instant hit when released in 1963 and has since become a traditional classic. Along with "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," Williams cheerfully celebrates with the spirited medley "Happy Holidays/The Holiday Season" and is at his playful best on the irresistibly raucous "Kay Thompson's Jingle Bells." He also wraps his voice around chestnuts like "White Christmas" and "The Christmas Song" with all the warmth of a favorite blanket, while a soaring version of "O Holy Night" is both enchanting and moving. His tender reading of the lesser-known "Sweet Little Jesus Boy" is as beautiful and serene as a crystal clear winter's night, but it is the instantly catchy opening ...
| | Neil Diamond A Cherry Cherry Christmas CD (2009)
The Middle songs
$10.39 Neil Diamond's first two holiday albums were plainly titled THE CHRISTMAS ALBUM and THE CHRISTMAS ALBUM VOL. 2, which gave a pretty good indication of the by-the-book music they contained, just like how the very name of 2009's A CHERRY CHERRY CHRISTMAS is a tip-off that this collection is a decidedly less serious affair, even if it recycles a good chunk of the same recordings that comprised those earlier albums. A CHERRY CHERRY CHRISTMAS keeps ...

The Middle album

Almost seven years in the making, 2009's I LOOK TO YOU marks a music industry homecoming for the singer. Supported by a mob of A-list producers and songwriters including ...
| | Megadeth Endgame CD (2009)
The Middle CD music
$15.65 The release of 2009's ENDGAME brings with it a startling realization: if first-generation thrash metal fans had been polled about which of the genre's "Big Four" -- Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth -- would prove to be the most resilient and consistently prolific over the next quarter century, the only sure-fire consensus would probably have been "well, anyone but Megadeth!" And yet, 12 studio albums and 150-plus songs later -- more than any of the other three have managed -- that's exactly what's come to pass. The group's second release for Roadrunner, whose title apparently refers to "coming full circle" rather than any sort of goodbye, finds the latest iteration of Megadeth-- debuting new guitarist Chris Broderick(ex-Nevermore, Jag Panzer)--working primarily within their technical thrash comfort zone (think PEACE SELLS through RUST IN PEACE), with only a few latter-day elements and rare experimental diversions. As such, deceptively simple ...
