THANKYOU ANYWAY are a band that have devoted their lives to the sound and performance of their music. They have mixed the predominant sound of Joe Colburn’s ambient guitar riffs with the driving force of a pure, up tempo rock ‘n’ roll band. The lyrics of vocalist (Sam Robson) express the everyday highs and lows of the world we live in. The connection between his voice and the emotion of what he sings and what his band stands for are yet another reason to see this band. Their relentless drive and attitude explains their constant movement and achievements as they aim for higher and higher within the music industry. Whether that be on the live scene or in the studio, they commit. The band consists of:-Sam Robson-VocalsSam’s easy mainstream upbringing has led to many of his influences being in the pop world, his constant target is to hit the charts and earn his living whilst being aware of the many sell out bands around hi.m He is not interested in becoming one of the many underground bands that survives solely on its own unique following. His years of experienced guitar playing and qualifications in guitar technology at BIMM (Brighton Institute Of Modern Music) add to the sound of various songs whilst his overpowering attitude of “never stop singing” allows him the freedom of the stage along with the freedom to express his feelings and show the world what he can do.-Joe Colburn-Lead GuitarDutch/Joe Colburn is highly inspired by bands such as Muse and Radiohead and brings an original feel to the music created. He creates most of the riffs. Being a multi-Instrumentalist, he brings a large contribution to the structures etc to the songs.-Tarquam Elphic-BassTarquam is a guitarist at heart who has now found the roots of where it all begins with bass, combining his experiences with technical melodies; he has put this into his bass playing to give a unique sound to the band.-Rawnsley Eddie-DrumsRawnsley is a professional and well respected drummer who loves to play music. He is dedicated to what he does and brings a certain style with him. As a student at BIMM he has learned different styles of playing which is essential to be a successful drummer. His influences are mainly rock /pop and he loves listening to all styles. His passion for drumming really shows in the way he expresses himself on stage and he surely will be a very successful drummer.
