Born in Great Falls Montana, and raised in Portland Oregon Rob discovered his rapping talent harmonizing with some neighborhood friends on the porch. Eventually he enters the Portland Apollo and won first place. By 1995 he was with Game Related Music in which he recorded his first single entitled "Ride Wit Me"! Later, Mackin' Rob's career then took a unique turn and he begin recording music for a local record label entitled Greenleaf Entertainment, in which the group "Rose City Playaz Club" was formed. The group released a CD in 1997 entitled "The Rose City Playaz Club" volume 1. You know them for the ever so popular "Colla Poppin"! Mackin' Rob and label mate Brotha Luv in 2000 then went on to release another CD on Greenleaf Entertainment entitled "Oregonized"!
