Gloria's music focuses on the unconditional love God has for His creation. She's been singing for more than 25 years having begun in the "Sunshine Band" at the tender age of 10. Gloria is committed to creating "music for Life!" and has shared her music at churches and for special events nationally and internationally having performed in concert at women's and singles' events, coffee houses, outdoor festivals and worship services. She's shared the stage with such veteran artists as DeLeon Richards, Helen Baylor, Worship Leader Ron Kenoly, and Out of Eden!Gloria released her first solo recording, He Loves Me in 1989 and followed that release up with Forever With You in 1995. That same year Gloria performed in a showcase during Gospel Music Week in Nashville and was compared to CeCe Winans in a review in the GMA Weekly. Gloria wrote and co-produced both releases. In 1998 Gloria took a break from her solo career to pursue musical theatre which took her around the world as a cruise ship entertainer. Committed II Praise'My Grace is Sufficient for You'(A Collection of Original Inspired Songs)We give our God all of the praise for affording us the opportunity to release our sophomore project entitled 'My Grace is Sufficient for You'.It is our sincere prayer that this project will aid you in your Christian walk and assure you that whatever may be happening in your life that God's grace is truly sufficient enough to sustain you. We know that you will be blessed by our music ministry. All of the songs on this project were inspired by the Holy Spirit and composed by our Music Director, Samuel R. Robinson. Additionally, he single-handedly programmed all of the instrumental tracks for this effort using his Korg Triton Workstation. The instrumentation includes: various keyboard sounds, brass, horns, strings, flutes, organs, percussions, woodwinds and harp. Committed was formed in 2001 with original members: Tony Walker, Jeffrey Patrick, and Curtis Perry. In 2002, God gave Bro. Tony Walker a vision to expand the group and help carry out 'the Great Commission. ' He called upon all of his friends resulting in the formation of 'Committed'. After months of singing under this title we realized that there was another national group bearing the same name; group members unanimously agreed to change its name to Committed II Praise. We have dedicated ourselves to carrying out 'the Great Commission'. We believe that each Christian has an obligation to do so. While some may be called to preach the word of God, we use our talent to proclaim the Word of the Lord through psalms, hymns and inspired songs. Since of August of 2002, God has truly blessed our group with opportunities to witness including: opening for The Williams Brothers, Big Prophet and Eric Matthews. We have also been blessed to be one of the featured acts for Sisters in the Spirit and many metropolitan Birmingham and Alabama State Area musical venues. We were also the featured artists for the 50th Anniversary of the Historic Montgomery Bus Boycott commemoration and the Inauguration Ceremony of the Mayor of Fairfield, AL.
