Waiting For Elijah
$14.79 To God is the Glory for all the great things he has done: As I reminisce over my life as a child, young man, and now in my older years. I can truly say that God has blessed my life in so many ways that I can’t express or count all the many blessings he has given me. The number one gift God has given me is ETERNAL LIFE. This is the reason; I praise God’s name in my music. I know how much I’ve failed God time and time again. Yet, he still forgives me countless times. I know it is God’s grace, mercy and goodness that I’m experiencing everyday of my life. That’s Why, I have to praise him. During my younger years, I realize there was a calling upon my life from God through his son Jesus Christ. As a native, in Jackson, Mississippi, I was born and raised by my grand parents who taught me greats values about God, charity, respect and ethics until the age of sixteen. As a child, I can remember loving to sing in church and playing the role of a pastor with my siblings. At sixteen, I went to Chicago, Illinois to complete my studies in Education and ministry. It was at the age of twenty-three; I accepted God as my personal saver and develop a relationship with him. Once I experienced a supernatural movement of God in my life through the Holy Spirit, I was never the same. Knowing that God had mandated me to sing songs of praises preach boldly and full of power and teach people the truth about God’s word. It was during the year of 1974, in the low income, poverty stricken area of Chicago, Illinois, I became an ordinate pastor under the teachings of Bishop Elder Jessie Bibbs who was the founder of New Testament House of God Pentecostal Apostolic Faith. In 1976, I became elder and 1977 district elder and 1978 the residing Bishop of New Testament House of God Pentecostal Apostolic Faith. Later, I relocated to Jackson, Mississippi in 1997 to establish a full gospel ministry, organization and community center in poverty, stricken neighbor among the homeless people. And God gave me an opportunity to produce and sing songs of praises to glorify his name JESUS. Yet, I was inspired by St. Matthew 5: 3:5& 6, 3.Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 5. Blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth. 6. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Yet, these scriptures were a confirmation for me to help the spiritually and physically needs of poor communities because God lets us know to bless the poor and they will always be among us. In over 32 years in the ministry as pastor, elder and bishop, I’ve never stopped running, walking, talking, singing, teaching, and preaching ...
| | Jason Osborne Rough Tracks CD (2008)
Waiting For Elijah
$12.59 Four years ago, Jason Osborne reluctantly put his education career on an indefinite hold to persue his passion for music and ministry. Blessed with a "rough-hewn" voice, the ability to play several instruments and write "down-to-earth" lyrics, Jason has cultured a unique musical style. In 2003, Jason recorded his first CD, "Pure White Wings", a collection of his own acoustic-based compositions ...

| | A A Bondy When The Devil's Loose CD (2009)
Waiting For Elijah
$11.89 When A.A. Bondy was lead singer for Verbena, the band was often accused of lifting large portions of its sound and style from the Rolling Stones (on its first album) and Nirvana (on INTO THE PINK). So with that history, it makes a certain sense that Bondy's second solo effort, WHEN THE DEVIL'S LOOSE, recalls another artist, in this case Ryan Adams. The largest part of this comes from Bondy's voice, which bears a reasonable aural resemblance to Adams and his sweetly jaded tone, though Bondy shows off a bit more sonic weight and a less studied demeanor. But the music isn't all that far away from Adams either, though if this is by design rather than accident, at least Bondy has the good sense to embrace the straightforward and emotionally powerful sound of HEARTBREAKER rather than the more scattershot style of Adams' subsequent solo efforts. Most of WHEN THE DEVIL'S LOOSE was cut with just a bassist (Macey Taylor) and drummer (Paul Buchignani) accompanying Bondy and his guitar, and the sessions have an air of gentle melancholy that brings out their graceful balance of blues and country accents; the minimal backing emphasizes the late-night vibe of the music, and the deep lonesome wanderings of the melodies are an ideal match for the downbeat storytelling of "On the Moon," "Oh the Vampyre," and "The Coal Hits the Fire." Bruce ...
