End Of Days album
$14.45 After the dark and chilling themes of 2006's BLACK CADILLAC, which saw Rosanne Cash dealing with the deaths of her mother, Vivian Liberto, her father, Johnny Cash, and her stepmother, June Carter Cash -- all of whom passed within a two-year span -- one might assume that her next project would move into an even deeper level of bleakness, but with THE LIST, it's immediately clear that she has instead found a more measured place to stand. It's a lovely and redemptive outing that looks back to go forward. When Cash turned 18, her father, alarmed that his daughter only knew the songs that were getting played on the radio, gave her a list of what he considered 100 essential American songs; Cash kept that list, and now she's drawn on it for this wonderfully nuanced outing that brims with a kind of redemptive timelessness. ...

End Of Days album
$15.65 With its titanic guitar solos, symphonic suites, and multi-layered melodies, Muse's fifth album operates under the assumption that bigger is better. This is the very definition of a super-sized album, an album that takes its cues from Queen, its lyrics from science fiction novels, and its delivery from rock opera. It's also the first time that Muse has truly sounded like Muse, as few bands since Queen have so readily explored the intersection of bombast and extravagance. ...
| | Rolling Stones Let It Bleed CD (1969)
End Of Days CD music
$14.19 The last Stones studio album of the '60s finds the band, for perhaps the first time, accurately reflecting the spirit of its age. The erstwhile bad boy outsiders of rock now found themselves firmly in the center of the social and political post-'68 whirlwind, and faced up to the challenge magnificently. The band's confident ...
| | Standard Promise CD (2003)
End Of Days music CDs
$12.65 Standard hails from Northern California. This group of musicians brings a chemistry and maturity to the stage that is beyond their years. Their music and live performances have made audiences ask: "Who is this band?"Standard formed in November of 2001. This, however, was not the real begginning. Russ Martellaro (lead vocals/acoustic guitar) and Chris Copeland (electric guitar/backing vocals) had been playing music together since they were in high school. Russ started learning how to play classical guitar when he was 8 years old. While attending Vacaville High School he was influenced by the music of Papa Roach and Incubus who were barley regional bands at the time. The first live concert he ever attended were those two bands at the Vacaville Community Center. Inspired by both of those bands' success he had always subconsciously wanted to be in a band. He finaly picked up the electric guitar and taught himself songs that he actually liked to listen to. After graduating high school he attended a Dave Matthews Band concert for the first time. Emmediately afterwards he taught himslef how to play most of their songs, this changed his style drastically. Slowly learning to play these songs and sing at the same time he developed enough courage to play at a small café in downtown Vacaville. He decided to ask his old high school friend Chris Copeland to play the show with him. Chris' style of playing complimented Russ very well, they instantly knew there was something special.Chris Copeland picked up his first guitar at age 13 in rebellion towards piano and trumpet lessons. He wanted to play an instrument that his parents didn't pick for him. His early influences included U2 and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers but being from Vacaville he had also been going to Papa Roach concerts since they had a trombone player. After high school he moved up to Chico to attend Chico State. He was initially frustrated with the music scene in Chico, it was ...

| | Jerry Cherry Life Is Sweeter CD (2007)
End Of Days CD music
$13.89 Jerry Cherry is a product of many factors. Take a New York via Florida via Brooklyn artist and add a generous dose of only the finest influences: Bowie. The Verve. Elvis (both The King and Costello). The White Stripes. AC/DC. Add plenty of heartfelt emotion—the sort of heartfelt emotion that only comes from living life. Take songs rooted in the blues, in folk, rockabilly, and old country but filter them through a cello and violin, a trumpet and trombone. Add other influences such as the immeasurable draw of New York City and the trials and wantings of love. Take an appeal broad enough to burn up both Top 40 charts and indie Internet radio stations. This is Jerry Cherry. That Jerry Cherry is a quintessentially New York artist is not surprising, but the route he took was not a traditional one. Born in Brooklyn, he moved with his family to Fort Lauderdale at the age of six. He picked up the guitar before he was a teenager and started to gig in high school. After honing his talents as both a guitar player and as a songwriter for several years, Jerry moved back to New York in 2004. Jerry’s experiences in New York ...
