Acoustic Citsuoca album
$8.99 After working his way through loss and chaos on the brilliant TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT (recorded in 1973, but not released until 1975), Neil Young deftly exorcised any lingering demons with 1974's ON THE BEACH. The album opens with the saunter of the aptly titled "Walk On," followed by the utterly gorgeous, Wurlitzer-tinged "See the Sky about to Rain."
The set also features a trio of scathing songs--"Revolution Blues," "Vampire Blues," and "Ambulance Blues"--that address issues important to Young, both social and personal. It is good to hear Young back with such ...
| | Neil Young Hawks & Doves CD (1980) Remastered
Acoustic Citsuoca CD music
$6.15 All tracks have been digitally remastered using HDCD technology.
Following up the energetic, one-two punch of RUST NEVER SLEEPS and LIVE RUST, Neil Young takes a more understated route with 1980's HAWKS & DOVES. On rustic tracks such as "Little Wing" and "The Old Homestead" (both written in the mid-'70s), Young revisits his HARVEST era with a spare sound that relies heavily on his distinctive voice and acoustic guitar. As the album progresses, its scope widens both musically and lyrically; "Stayin' Power" is a jaunty, piano-driven tune about the power of love, while "Comin' Apart at Every Nail" is a guitar-laden ...
| | Neil Young Reactor CD (1981) Remastered
Acoustic Citsuoca music CDs
$6.19 All tracks have been digitally remastered using HDCD technology.
Released in 1981, REACTOR was a transitional album for Neil Young, most notably in that it marked a break in his longstanding relationship with Reprise Records. But before Young left for the supposedly greener fields of Geffen, he unleashed this amped-up outing with Crazy Horse in tow. "Opera Star," with its refrain of "ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho" and unusual synthesizer backing, sets a quirky tone that's furthered by "T-Bone," a nine-minute guitar workout with lyrics comprised only of the lines "Got mashed potatoes/Ain't got no T-bone." On other tracks, however, the iconic rocker leaves blatant eccentricities behind; "Southern Pacific" rolls along vintage Young rails, while the fierce "Shots," with its distorted, industrial sounds, ...
| | Neil Young Greendale CD (2003) Bonus DVD
Acoustic Citsuoca songs
$15.79 Includes a bonus DVD entitled LIVE AT VICAR STREET, which features a solo acoustic concert recording of the GREENDALE album.
GREENDALE 2ND EDITION includes a different DVD and different artwork from the original GREENDALE.
This release includes a bonus DVD entitled INSIDE GREENDALE, which contains behind-the-scenes footage of the GREENDALE recording session.
Critics were sharply divided over this album, some hailing it as a masterpiece and some dismissing it as a tossed-off trifle. Longtime Young fans will notice right away that GREENDALE's raw, minimalistic sound and quirky songs hearken back to such gloriously off-kilter 1970s releases as ZUMA and TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT. This is a "concept album," but it's one of the few instances in rock history ...

Acoustic Citsuoca music CDs
$8.65 Nick Rossos: doctor by day, composer by night. He began keyboard lessons in the early 1990s and soon wrote and recorded his first CD, Listen to my Music, a disk of relaxation new age music. In the late 1990s, Nick teamed up with Grammy nominated writer and producer Tom Marolda to record his second CD, Cathexis. Unlike the first CD, on which Nick was the only performer, this second release featured many other talented musicians, including cabaret singer Velma Anstadt, vibraphone player Robin Giese, floutist Susanna Ngao, and his own daughters Rachel Rossos and Alexandra Rossos. This is the third CD of Nick Rossos and it is a delicious blend of his previous styles of music. Be sure to buy your copy today!----------Hi everyone. I was a regular attendee of Bill Graham’s Fillmore East in Manhattan in the late 60’s. Bill would introduce us to new styles of music. I would go see Blood, Sweat, and Tears and then be introduced to the first New York appearance of the Allman Brothers Band. I would go see Neil Young and then be mesmerized by Miles Davis. You get the idea.My third CD, Bohemian Fusion, is an experimental journey of different styles of music and the fusion of these styles. It is highly unconventional. The first song, I Love You, is a rock-jazz song featuring Susanna Ngao. She is a classical flute player from Hong Kong and sings “I love you” in Mandarin Chinese. She then takes us on a journey with the flute that Jethro Tull would be proud of. Her flute produces sounds like Ian Anderson, Herbie Mann, Bach, Chinese, Miles Davis, and sounds I can’t describe. This rock-jazz song is a mystical experience. Guitar Talk is a concept I had of rock guitars talking to each other. Grammy nominee Tom Marolda’s expertise made my vision come alive. We had fun putting that one together. Dear Mother is a beautiful folk-rock song by my daughter, Rachel Rossos. She has recorded her own CD and often plays in New York City and San Francisco. Bordentown Christmas is a holiday song I wrote ten years ago for the elementary school children at the Clara Barton School in Bordentown, NJ. A Happy Song and Let’s Dance/Greek Blues are my grandfather, Paul Kounios’ songs. I recorded them live in the attic by a reel-to-reel tape in 1960. He played in a Greek band and his musical instrument was ...
