Man From Snowy River film
$9.69 Based on a story by STAR WARS creator George Lucas, WILLOW is director Ron Howard's fantasy world of medieval adventure. WILLOW stars Val Kilmer as Madmartigan, a swashbuckling warrior, and Warwick Davis as the title character. In a mythical kingdom, the evil sorceress Queen Bavmorda (Jean Marsh) plots to kill all infants so that the newborn princess, Elora, will never take over the throne. But a midwife sets the baby adrift in a river, and she is rescued by Willow, a farmer in Nelwyn, a peaceful village of trolls, fairies, and little folk. Willow and Madmartigan begin a quest to deliver the baby from evil while being chased by Queen Bavmorda's daughter, Sorsha (Joanne Whalley), sent to bring the baby back to Nockmaar. Director Howard benefited from his affiliation with George Lucas on the film--Lucas's company, Industrial Light and Magic, contributed the Oscar-nominated special effects. Lucas, the executive producer of WILLOW, went on to create a series of books based on the world of WILLOW, the SHADOW WAR series.

| | Mr. Magoo Show - Complete DVD Collection DVDs (2005)
Man From Snowy River movie DVD
$16.29 Mr. Magoo began in 1949 as a near-sighted old man in a popular series of short cartoons exhibited in movie theatres. Magoo later reappeared in a television series called THE MR. MAGOO SHOW (1960-1962), all ten hours of which appear here. Brilliant and revered actor Jim Backus (millionaire Thurston Howell in GILLIGAN'S ISLAND) voiced the character and gave Magoo a unique personality. Magoo's near-sightedness always has him mistaking one object for another (a flower pot for the body of an old-fashioned telephone, and a coffee cup for the receiver, etc.), and the humor springs from the fact that Magoo refuses to ever admit, or even seem to realize, that there is any problem whatsoever. He blithely blunders along, continuously muttering to himself as he mistakes every conceivable object for a different one, almost getting killed ...

Man From Snowy River film
$42.69 Sizzling with sex and sin, Miami was the perfect setting for this classic 1980s cop show starring Don Johnson, Philip Michael Thomas, and Edward James Olmos. From the minds of Michael Mann and Dick Wolf, this series used the MTV-influenced music and style to great effect. Johnson and Thomas play detective duo Crockett and Tubbs who pose as members of the city's criminal underworld as they battle their own inner demons. A generation of men followed the style of the pair, wearing the pastel-jacket-and-tee-shirt combo that Johnson and Thomas made so famous. This release includes all 24 episodes of the third season with pre-fame ...

Man From Snowy River DVD
$15.19 Touted as Jerry Seinfeld's first major project since the 1998 end of his long-running eponymous TV series, 2007's computer-animated BEE MOVIE stars the popular comedian as the voice of Barry B. Benson, a young bee eager to explore the world outside of his hive. As he discovers how people live in New York City, he befriends a human florist, Vanessa Bloome (Renee Zellweger), and becomes outraged at the selling of honey, leading to a lawsuit and, of course, plenty of Seinfeldian misadventures.
Helmed by directors Steve Hickner (THE PRINCE OF EGYPT) and Simon J. Smith (a member of the SHREK creative team), BEE MOVIE lightens Seinfeld's notoriously stinging humor for a family audience, while staying true to its inherent New York-bred quirkiness. This leaves room for the film to feature impressive (if anatomically incorrect) bug-oriented CGI animation and a solid supporting cast that includes Zellweger, Matthew Broderick, John Goodman, Chris Rock, and Ray Liotta (who plays a honey-peddling animated version of himself). Although it inhabits some of the same insect-populated territory as A BUG's LIFE and ANTZ, BEE MOVIE also nods to THE GRADUATE (admittedly a Seinfeld favorite) in its restless protagonist, ...

Man From Snowy River video
$32.35 ABC aired the sixth season of their long-running sitcom BEWITCHED in 1969. The role of Samantha Stephens's (Elizabeth Montgomery) husband, Darrin, was played by Dick Sargent in this season, replacing Dick York who had to leave the show due to an ongoing illness. The show is based around the mismatched couple, who attempt to overcome the fact that Samantha is a witch and Darrin in a mere mortal. Samantha's family, led by her mother, Endora (Agnes Moorehead), never approved of the marriage, and the overbearing mom regularly casts wicked spells on the beleaguered Darrin. Despite all these obstacles, Samantha and Darrin somehow manage to stay together, and this wickedly funny season continues in much the same vein as the preceding five.
Among the highlights and notable plot points in these 29 episodes are the birth of Samantha's second child with Darrin, who is immediately placed under a spell by Endora's estranged husband, Maurice (Maurice Evans); a subtle turning-of-the-tables as Darrin is given a watch with magical powers to match Samantha's own; and a quirky turn of events as Endora is finally forced to be nice to Samantha's husband. The show is thoroughly ingrained in the pop culture landscape and its continuing appeal has led to remakes, spin-offs, and a contemporary updating of the characters in the 2005 BEWITCHED feature film. This nostalgic ...
