Workin' on the railroad
When Mark Farner and Don Brewer went back into the studio for the first time since the 1976 LP Good Singin' Good Playin' and recorded Grand Funk Lives and finally What's Funk?, I enjoyed what they were doing but was frankly not completely keen to the idea that keyboardist Craig Frost was not in the band.

What's Funk? songs i don't know why some people thinks this album stinks. well first off i like the cover. it's 1983 yeh go ahead and show a hot poolside babe with some jumper cables.

Ignore the crowd and listen to it
What's Funk? album for sale This album has more hard pop than their albums from the 70's. But it isn't any lighter than albums by Foreigner or Journey.

On Their Last Leg
What's Funk? CD music Grand Funk Railroad was out of steam by the time they released this recording. It has more in common with the very poor Mark Farner solo releases that preceded it than with the storied catalogue of Don, Mel, Mark, and Craig.

Grand Disappointment
What's Funk? buy CD music I couldn't believe my ears when I first heard this album. It's nothing like the explosive grinding of metal gears that will always be my all time favorite band of any genre.
