| flash from the past
i remember hearing this at 2001 in Pittsburgh back in the day. Its just as good now as then, especially Bolero and Magic Fly.

| Some details about this French Canadian group
I love this CD for it's electronic,futuristic fast tempo sound especially in "WAR DANCE". The group name Kebekelektrik is taken from the French sentence "Québec Électrique". Tony Green (France Joli) is listed on the TK release. "Magic Fly" was also released on Salsoul Records, but credits Pat DeSerio (Bombers, Bob-a-rela) as producer of the track/album. And for more of a twist, Gino Soccio was involved in writing and it was also recorded by the French group Space in 1977. "WAR DANCE" was the only song that I knew from Kebekelektrik until I purchased the CD. I was instantly drawn to "MAGIC FLY" and "JOURNEY INTO LOVE. It's smooth,easy listening yet a dance- able track!"BOLERO" is okay and "MIRAGE" is better than average. If you like computeristic songs with outstanding synthesizers, such as similar artists from that era; Giorgio Moroder, Gino Soccio and Patrick Cowley, to mention a few references, then, you will enjoy this CD!!
