Serenade album Product Description
Neil Diamond continued his long winning streak with this relaxed, palatable follow-up to 1973's JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL. SERENADE contains the sunny hit "Longfellow Serenade" as well as the equally charming, if less well-known "Rosemary's Wine," and typical grandiose orchestral ballads like "I've Been This Way Before" and "Yes I Will." There's also the fanciful "The Last Picasso" and the Caribbean-flavored "Reggae Strut," all adding up to a classic collection of flamboyant early-'70s pop.

| Diamond at his Best To me, Serenade is Neil Diamond at his best - the pinnacle of his creative powers. And that's saying quite a lot. I know many will not agree. To me, of the hundreds of records/CD's in my collection, this is one of the few classics! By Devon (Salt Lake City, Utah) |
| Excellent Listening Classic Diamond. Some songs are gentle and soft and some are great. The more you listen the more you like it. By a reviewer (London, Kentucky) This review is for a different format. |
