SAP contains the hidden track "Love Song" which is not listed on the CD.
Prior to the sessions for the group's hugely successful DIRT album (eventually issued in 1992), Alice In Chains surprised its largely heavy metal audience with a five-song all-acoustic EP entitled SAP. Released in the fall of 1991 during the height of "Seattle mania," SAP's mellow mood couldn't have been more different from the red-hot rock releases by such heavy hitters as Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam.
Surprisingly, the acoustic sound fits Alice In Chains well, as evidenced by such strong compositions as "Brother" and "Got Me Wrong" (both featured guest Ann Wilson of Heart on back-up vocals). But the EP's undisputed highlight is the moody "Right Turn," which features cameo vocal spots by the great Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and Mudhoney's Mark Arm. SAP set the stage perfectly future acoustic Alice releases as 1994's JAR OF FLIES and 1996's UNPLUGGED.
Recorded at London Bridge Studios, Seattle, Washington.
Alice In Chains: Jerry Cantrell (vocals, guitar); Layne Staley (vocals); Michael Starr (bass); Sean Kinney (drums, percussion).

Sap
$4.49 In between their departure from the Jeff Beck Group and their joining the Small Faces, Rod Stewart and buddy Ron Wood went into the studio to record THE ROD STEWART ALBUM (aka AN OLD RAINCOAT WON'T EVER LET YOU DOWN). Within the span of eight songs, Stewart used his soulful rasp to dismiss any ideas that he was merely Beck's singer. With Wood riding shotgun and playing potent bottleneck guitar, Stewart's talents were demonstrated on mostly self-penned material.
The only exceptions were a rollicking "Street Fighting Man," a baroque reading of Mike D'Abo's "Handbags And Gladrags" (featuring D'Abo on piano) and folkie ...
| | Aerosmith Rocks CD (1976) Remastered
Sap
$6.75 One of the reasons why Aerosmith, after a number of creatively lean years, are still given legendary credence and an eager ear with each new release, Rocks encapsulated the very essence of rock 'n' roll. They may have been the target of detractors who still pinned them as nothing more than a poor man's Rolling Stones, but Rocks pioneered a strength and swagger and real depth that ...

$6.75 "Grind" was nominated for a 1996 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
"Again" was nominated for a 1997 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
Much like the overcast and murky weather that Seattle is known for, Alice In Chains' music is dour, plumbing the darker side of life that's cluttered with dashed hopes and inner ...
| | Deep Purple Machine Head CDs (1972) Remastered; Deluxe Edition
Sap
$10.69 This package contains the original MACHINE HEAD plus quadrophonic mixes of 2 songs on one disc, MACHINE HEAD remixed by Roger Glover in 1998, and a 28 page booklet.
A probable contender for one of hard rock's "all-time most influential albums," Deep Purple's MACHINE HEAD has all the markings of a heavy classic. It was here that the band's combination of amped-up blues, progressive instrumental prowess, screaming guitars, and thunderous rhythms was crystallized for the ages, helping to lay the foundation for hard rock and heavy metal throughout the '70s, '80s, and '90s. The lone presence of "Smoke on the Water" immediately elevates the album to essential status. The song became a long-running radio staple, and boasts one of the most instantly recognizable guitar riffs in rock history.
Yet the rest of the album holds up impressively, from the adrenaline-soaked opener "Highway Star," in which organist Jon Lord and guitarist Richie Blackmore trade off dazzling solos, to the churning ...

| | Deep Purple Who Do We Think We Are? CD (1973) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Sap
$9.65 After establishing itself as a hard-rock giant, thanks to endless touring and the release of such milestone records as MACHINE HEAD and IN ROCK, Deep Purple was in a state of turmoil when it went into the studio to record 1972's WHO DO WE THINK WE ARE? Despite all the infighting, the band pulled together long enough to record seven tracks that only bolstered the band's reputation.

| | Dan Ar Braz Heritage Des Celtes CD (1994) (Import)
Sap
$18.39 This is the first of Dan Ar Bras' L'Héritage des Celtes albums, in which he explores the similarities and differences between the Celtic music of France and the United Kingdom. He accomplishes this by performing traditional songs from both countries and employing folk musicians and singers from France, Scotland, and Ireland. Sharing lead vocals in English are singers Elaine Morgan from Rose Among Thorns and Karen Matheson of Capercaillie fame. Notable instrumentalists include Donal Lunny on bouzouki, Nollaig Casey on fiddle, Ray Fean on drums, and of course the electric and acoustic guitar playing of Ar Bras. Dan Ar Bras does a judicious job of allowing all present to showcase their talents; however, he also excels in large-ensemble arrangements. While much of this album focuses on traditional pieces, the actual performance leans toward the contemporary, not unlike Capercaillie, especially ...
| | Duo ilha Vem Amar A Tua Ilha CD (2003)
Sap
$11.39 English: The IslandThe Island is this bitter and sweet longing song to embargo the voice that already hurts from singing. It was at the Island that both we were born and we learned how to bring in the senses the tenderness of the flavors that you/they last long for besides the crossing of the sea that took us of our youth's horizons. Singing the Island went to us the best to form to be always in her and to record in the eyes of the memory that for already far away our view doesn't reach. That our poems and music ...
| | Legend Of Johnny Cash Vol. 2 CD (2006)
Sap
$10.39 VOLUME 2 of THE LEGEND OF JOHNNY CASH provides an excellent complement to the first volume. The set ranges across Cash's career, spanning back to immortal classics like "Home of the Blues," "I Still Miss Someone," and "Long Black Veil," and to his late-period covers of songs by Tom Petty and Leonard Cohen. Duets are featured prominently; the ones with Waylon Jennings ("The Night Hank Williams Came to Town") and Bob Dylan ("Girl from the North Country") are highlights on an album full ...
