| | Ozzy Osbourne Just Say Ozzy CD Ozzy Osbourne Discography of CDs
Digitally remastered by Brian Lee and Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering Studios, Inc.).
Ozzy Osbourne's world tour for 1989's NO REST FOR THE WICKED was another sold-out success for metal's beloved madman. It marked the first tour appearance of new guitarist Zakk Wylde, the second of drummer Randy Castillo, and the return of former Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler. As a tribute to the thousands of fans who packed arenas, Ozzy decided to re-record six fan favorites live in the studio with his new band, and issued it in early 1990 under the name JUST SAY OZZY.
Made up of four solo hits and two Black Sabbath classics, JUST SAY OZZY is an authentic representation of what the short-lived Osbourne-Butler-Wylde-Castillo line-up sounded like live. Ozzy actually stated in the press around the time of the EP's release that he much preferred the version of his 1986 hit "Shot In the Dark" included here over the original. Also included are three songs from NO REST FOR THE WICKED, "Miracle Man," "Bloodbath in Paradise," and "Tattooed Dancer," as well as the Sabbath nuggets (and all-time heavy metal anthems) "Sweat Leaf" and "War Pigs." While other live Osbourne releases like TRIBUTE and SPEAK OF THE DEVIL are better, Ozzy worshippers will enjoy JUST SAY OZZY.
Recorded live at the Brixton Academy Theater, England in November 1989. Includes liner notes by Ozzy Osbourne.
Personnel: Ozzy Osbourne (vocals); Zakk Wylde (guitar); Geezer Butler (bass); Randy Castillo (drums).

Just Say Ozzy album
$9.19 No one could expect 1987's Join the Army, the long-awaited follow-up to Suicidal Tendencies' quintessential self-titled debut, to live up to its predecessor, but few expected it to be this disappointing. Except for a few bright moments such as "Possessed to Skate" and "War Inside ...
| | Ratt Detonator CD (1990)
Just Say Ozzy CD music
$7.59 Many were beginning to write off 'pop metal' by the dawn of the 1990's (and with good reason - the impending Seattle alt-rock movement was about to annihilate the genre), but bands such as Ratt ...
| | Atomic Rooster Devil's Answer CD (1970) (Import) United Kingdom
Just Say Ozzy music CDs
$17.29 CD contains previously unreleased BBC sessions & live tracks.
Recorded between 1970 and 1972. Includes liner notes by Arthur Brown.
All but overlooked in the U.S. for most of their career, this British prog band--essentially Arthur Brown's old backing band and numerous guests--has been slugging it out in one form another since 1970. This collection, while not a "best of," pulls together some tasty live tracks and studio cuts, effectively serving as a primer for new fans.
British outfit Atomic Rooster is well known among prog rock aficionados as sharing members with iconic acts the Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. But the band's own output deserves notice, as the compilation THE DEVIL HITS BACK attests. Collecting singles, live tracks, and rarities from the band's output in the 1980s, THE DEVIL HITS BACK showcases the group's hard-rocking side, evincing comparisons to progressive rockers like Jethro Tull and more blues-based `70s and `80s hard-rock fare.
Unreleased BBC sessions recorded 1970 - 1972, plus 3 ...
| | Grand Funk Railroad E Pluribus Funk CD (1971) Bonus Tracks; Remastered
Just Say Ozzy songs
$8.85 Grand Funk's fifth album overall, 1971's E PLURIBUS FUNK, remains its most politically charged release. The trio also incorporated what were previously uncharted territories for a hard rock band on the song "Loneliness," which uses an orchestra to great effect. Both "People Let's Stop the War" (concerning the Vietnam war) and "Save the Land," mixed politics ...
| | Dio Magica/Killing The Dragon CDs (2007)
Just Say Ozzy album
$11.65 This budget-priced twofer features a pair of late-period Dio albums, 2000's MAGICA and 2002's KILLING THE DRAGON. MAGICA was the first new album in four years from the golden-throated Ronnie James Dio. The work was also his first concept album, and the metal maestro delivers a powerful and stimulating work that recalls his Rainbow and early Dio years. DRAGON finds Dio penning allegories firmly rooted in the 21st century, with the galloping ...

Just Say Ozzy album
$5.95 For a spell during the late '80s and early '90s, it seemed like almost every day there was a new hair metal band popping up on MTV, taking aim at joining the likes of Poison, Mötley Crüe, and Bon Jovi at the top of the mountain. Some (Skid Row, Winger, Slaughter, etc.) did manage to challenge the aforementioned groups, while bands like Danger Danger came oh so close before vanishing from view completely. Danger Danger enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame with ...
