Issued in 1996, this 10-track collection presents an ultra-funky set of keyboardist George Duke's late-'70s/early-'80s solo material. Although also renowned for his jazz/pop crossover work, Duke is right at home doling out Parliament-quality grooves, most notably on the ridiculous "Dukey Stick," and easing into R&B-tinged tracks such as the soulful "Reach for It" and the super-smooth "Shine On." While this isn't a comprehensive overview of Duke's prolific career, it is a whole lot of fun.
Includes liner notes by Angeleno Michael Simpson.

$15.35 East, Leland Sklar, Cornelius Mims, John Giblin, Freddie Washington (bass); Sheila E.(percussion); Peter Gabriel, Sting, Marva King (background vocals).
In the early '80s, Collins took a break from the helm of Genesis to inaugurate a solo career that abandoned his group's art-rock agenda for a mainstream pop approach. In the ensuing years, the king of Nice Guy Pop established himself as one of the world's premier top 40 balladeers, as evidenced by the wall-to-wall hits that make up the balance of this appropriately titled collection. HITS walks the listener through the smooth, well-produced Collins hits that have worked their way into the collective consciousness of radio listeners (even casual ones) over the years. There are majestic power ballads ("I Wish It Would Rain") to light-hearted, infectious pop-funk ("Sussudio") and moody atmospheric pieces ("In the Air ...

| | Tom Tallitsch Medicine Man CD (2008)
Greatest Hits album
$12.89 A nice sophomore set from Philadelphia area saxman Tom Tallitsch, Medicine Man casually grooves its way through a series of original compositions while making full use of the accompanying band. $11.39 I Was Born On The August 18th 1988 In Dapaong West Africa. I Was Influenced in my early days by my older brother Koudjo who used to rap with his friends. I Still Got Fresh Memories Of When they used to freestyle at anytime of the day. He Had the ability to rap and make beats thats really rare these days if you know what i'm talking about. When I Got a little bit older i started listening to NWA but ya'll already know its really hard to listen to some NWA when Mama's in the house so yea i had to listen to it in my walkman/cdplayer. 2Pac caught my attention later on because he was Koudjo's favorite rapper. Unconditional Love, California Love Remix I Dont even want to start enumerating. If You Follow Me Closely You Will notice I used to like everything My brother used to like. When He Moved To Montreal Canada, I Began listening to some 8ball&MJG, Three Six Mafia. Ludacris Is one of my influences because of his ability of riddling while he raps. Nas Is definately the best on the East Coast So He needs to be mentioned on my influence list. I Got An Album In stores in Portland OREGON, or ya'll can just order it through http://cdbaby.com/dachampmusic or if you like iTunes better than feel free to buy my album on it. Coming Hard As a Modern Is My 1st Solo album which includes a featuring with Kashstar a.k.a Major Oni From The GamePlan Records. He Made 10 beats off of my album whe he was just 13 years old! I Know some of Ya'll Might be saying '' who the hell gonna believe this fool'' but feel free to add him and ask him ...
