By early 1984, Quiet Riot was undoubtedly one of the most popular heavy metal acts in the U.S. Things quickly took a turn for the worse by the summer release of its sophomore effort, CONDITION CRITICAL. Singer Kevin DuBrow had been continuously slamming other hard rock bands in the press (most notably Motley Crue and Ozzy Osbourne). Taking shots at Ozzy rubbed many metalheads the wrong way and caused friction within QR itself.
CONDITION CRITICAL performed respectfully on the charts regardless, due to another successful Slade cover ("Mama Weer All Crazee Now"), as well as the self-explanatory "Party All Night," and other rockers such as "Sign of the Times," "Stomp Your Hands, Clap Your Feet," and the title track. After the ensuing tour wrapped up, bassist Rudy Sarzo left the band, eventually resurfacing as a member of Whitesnake three years later. Condition Critical songs
$15.15 This collection of tracks by pop singer, Billy Vaughn, features such trademark songs as "La Paloma", "Lili Marleen", and "Blue Hawaii".
Studio orchestra leader Billy Vaughn may have been even more popular in Germany in the 1950s and '60s than he was in the U.S., which helps explain why the most comprehensive compilation of his work originates there. This two-CD, 50-track album of original Dot Records recordings contains 20 of Vaughn's 28 Billboard Hot 100 chart entries, including the major U.S. hits "Melody of Love," "The Shifting Whispering Sands," "Sail Along Silvery Moon" and "Raunchy." Then there are songs that topped the German charts, like "Wheels" and ...

Condition Critical album
$19.69 Although generally not as highly regarded by the critics as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, or the Who, the Kinks may well have influenced far more musicians. The three-chord sledgehammer proto-metal burst of teenage lust called "You Really Got Me," the Kinks' third single and first hit, touched off a garage band explosion, which in turn influenced the rise of punk a decade later. Blessed with an astute songwriter in Ray Davies, the Kinks followed the template of "You Really Got Me" for a couple years, racking up hits with "All Day and All of the Night," "Tired of Waiting for You," and "Till the End of the Day." But Davies had more than one card in his pocket, and he blossomed into a sharp social satirist ("Dedicated Follower of Fashion"). By the time the album The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society was released in 1968, Davies had become a master of elegiac studies in English suburbia. The gender-bending "Lola" was a big hit in 1970 and the Kinks entered the video era in 1983 with "Come Dancing" and its memorable video. The Ultimate Collection spans the group's career in two discs, including the hits, B-sides, and key album tracks. ~ Steve Leggett
Arguably the finest and most expansive Kinks collection on the market! The first disc of this double-disc begins with their third single and first No. 1, the insistent 'You Really Got Me', then races through the glory years with the absurdly infectious likes ...

| | Danger Danger CD (1989)
Condition Critical music CDs
$5.95 For a spell during the late '80s and early '90s, it seemed like almost every day there was a new hair metal band popping up on MTV, taking aim at joining the likes of Poison, Mötley Crüe, and Bon Jovi at the top of the mountain. Some (Skid Row, Winger, Slaughter, etc.) did manage to challenge the aforementioned groups, while bands like Danger Danger came oh so close before vanishing from view completely. Danger Danger enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame with their self-titled 1989 debut, which merged built-for-mainstream-radio hooks with pinup-boy good looks -- a formula that seemed like a can't-miss proposition during this aforementioned era. Included is the group's best-known track, the album-opening anthem "Naughty Naughty," as well as the similarly styled "Bang Bang" (what is it with this group and repeating ...

Condition Critical MP3 Album
$15.19 VAST is Thad's newest solo piano album, released in June of 2008. It is a mix of emotional impressions, and melodic movement. Thad's music is a blend of classical and contemporary sounds, created for relaxing and meditating. Music to soothe the soul, relax the mind, and reflect upon. VAST is a musical journey and expression of passion, emotion, and experiences, created to convey the blessings received from God's overwhelming love, mercy, and goodness.Thad's music often combines a unique rhythmic sense (particularly his use of rubato), with melodic simplicity and counterpoint. The fusion often produces a particularly delicate sound in the melody and harmony, which are nevertheless emphasized by soft and interesting harmonic techniques.Originally from Ottumwa Iowa, Thad currently lives in the Hannibal Missouri area. He is married, with three beautiful children. Thad has been writing and composing music from an early age, which is his focus and passion. He grew up listening and studying classical music, which typically resounds some way in his music. Thad studied piano, violin, guitar, and percussion throughout his school years, and is currently focused on the piano and digital instruments. In the near future He hopes to start working on other instrumental ...
