| Brutal This is another great album from another great band. This is heavy metal of the eighties, very crude, and of course the Ron Keel voice is brutal also the guitars. Good album, donīt waste your time buy it! By ascanderkiss (Caracas, Venezuela) |
| actually this is a great album the only record i ever liked that ron keel sang on was the classic steeler album from 83 as well as all the steeler demos that came out a couple of years ago from 82 and 83, this was rons first solo album and i actually thought it was really good, it came out at the end of 1984, with songs like speed demon, thunder and lightning, lay down the law and your the victim with a couple of pretty bad ballads like princess of illusion and till hell freezes over it was really a great effort by an awful singer. the end came for me when the follow up to this album in 85 ( the right to rock) was released and it was produced by gene $immon$ for a catchy radio friendly sound and i guess i was so down on that lp becouse when loudness ( from japan) toured here for the first time in the spring of 1985 KEEL where the openers and me and a friend ( who worshiped loudness) went to 6 shows that spring in this area as well as a few other areas and we had to be in the front row with RON KEEL screaming in our faces every night it just really got on my nerves.
