Beverly Hillbillies - Vol. 4 DVD Features
Uncle Jed, Elly May, Granny, and Jethro bring their outrageous backwoods antics to Southern Californny in this hilarious CBS comedy series from 1962-71. As the oil-rich Clampetts struggle to make sense of modern city living, Milburn Drysdale lives in constant fear of these simple mountain folk withdrawing their $25 million from his Beverly Hills bank.
The Clampetts and the Dodgers: Drysdale invites Jed to 'shoot some golf' but Jed and his family mistake the sport for some strange Beverly Hills hunting tradition! Meanwhile, Leo Durocher considers Jethro for the major leagues.
Jed Throws a Wingding: Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt are visiting from Nashville with their wives, but the Clampetts assume these former suitors of Aunt Pearl are in town to fight for her hand in marriage.
The Family Tree: Mrs. Drysdale is determined to kick the Clampetts out of Beverly Hills once and for all, but her plans are scuttled once the hillbillies and their priceless family artifacts delight a society dame with an eye for Americana.
Jed Cuts the Family Tree: Desperate for an entrance into Beverly Hills society, Pearl attempts a high-class makeover and even tries to class up her hopeless relatives.
Chickadee Returns: 'Exotic interpretive dancer' Chickadee Laverne thinks the Clampetts have hired her for a strip act, but a love struck Jethro has more romantic ambitions.
The Giant Jackrabbit: A kangaroo escapes from Drysdale's back yard, and Granny mistakes the creature for a giant rabbit. The beautiful Sharon Tate makes an appearance as a bewildered caterer.
The Girl From Home: Mountain man Lafe Crick demands a shotgun marriage for his hefty daughter Essiebelle and Jethro.
Meanwhile, Back at the Cabin: In this third episode of the hilarious series, Pearl tries to snare Mr. Brewster, and Jethro actually falls for Miss Hathaway! The resourceful Elly also makes a slingshot out of an expensive brassiere.
Race for the Queen: The competition is on for Queen of Beverly Hills, and everyone from Elly, Miss Hathaway, Drysdale's sexy secretary - and even Granny! - are battling for the title. Robert Cummings guest stars as the beauty contest judge.
Jed's Dilemma: Crafty Aunt Pearl spikes Granny's soup with moonshine so that she can seize control of the household and, more importantly, the Clampett kitchen.

Two-Lane Blacktop DVDs (1971)
Beverly Hillbillies - Vol. 4 movie Drag racing east from L.A. in a souped-up '55 Chevy are the wayward Driver and Mechanic (singer/songwriter James Taylor and the Beach Boys' Dennis Wilson, in their only acting roles), accompanied by a tagalong Girl (Laurie Bird). Along the way, they meet Warren Oates's Pontiac GTO-driving wanderer and challenge him to a cross-country race--the prize: their cars' pink slips. Yet no summary can do justice to the existential punch of Two-Lane Blacktop. Maverick director Monte Hellman's stripped-down narrative, gorgeous widescreen compositions, and sophisticated look at American male obsession make this one of the artistic high points of 1970s cinema, and possibly the greatest road movie ever made.
Cult film director Monte Hellman follows up his legendary westerns THE SHOOTING and RIDE IN THE WHIRLWIND with another bona fide classic, this time set on the paved highways of early 1970s America. Making their acting debuts, musicians Dennis Wilson and James Taylor play a pair of drag-racing drifters who battle against willing competitors all along the back roads of America, encountering a wild cast of characters. After stopping for lunch one afternoon, Taylor (The Driver) and Wilson (The Mechanic) discover a young woman in their back seat (Laurie Bird, credited as (The Girl). The newly formed trio continues to head east, and places a risky bet with Warren Oates after bumping into each other at a gas station. The first automobile to arrive in Washington D.C. is the winner. The prize: the loser's car (Taylor and Wilson drive a 1955 Chevy, while Oates pilots a 1970 Pontiac GTO). Strangely enough, rather than turning into a relentless fight to the finish, none of the participants seem too worried about picking up the pace. In fact, they act as if they're afraid of reaching their destinations, spurning an endless series of sidetracks that turns Hellman's film into a broad existential metaphor and cementing its place as one of 1970s Hollywood's bravest motion pictures.

Frost Nixon - The Complete Interviews DVDs (1977)
Beverly Hillbillies - Vol. 4 film The pungent interview between British TV host David Frost and former President Richard Nixon in 1977 was a groundbreaking moment in American politics. Assembled from over 28 hours of footage, this candid conversation--which some have compared to a boxing match--ended with the weary, impeached leader accepting guilt for the Watergate scandal. The famed tête-à-tête became the basis for the play FROST/NIXON, in turn adapted into a movie directed by Ron Howard. This program also includes footage of Frost from 2007, reassessing the interviews and their aftermath.
This 2 DVD set is culled from over 28 hours of interview footage between Sir David Frost and U.S. President Richard M. Nixon. It was originally broadcast in May, 1977. Never before, nor since, has a U.S. President been so candid on camera. Even more intriguing is the fact that Nixon agreed to appear on camera with no pre-interview preparation or screening of questions. This program also contains new footage with Frost shot in 2007 discussing the historic impact of the interviews along with his reactions of their famous encounter. Frost also discusses his views on Peter Morgan's interpretation and screenplay adaptation of this historical event.
