Sarah Dylan was born in 1991 in Toronto, Canada. Before she reached the age of two, her parents discovered her musical talent. By the age of six, she began taking piano lessons and writing her own short compositions. At age seven, Sarah had already won her camp talent show and various other talent contests. Not only does she sing, but she has had lead roles in many musical theatre productions; Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, and most recently Fame, to name a few. After studying piano and taking vocal lessons for six years, she decided that she wanted to learn another instrument. At her school, she learned how to play the viola. This proved challenging at first, but by the time she was thirteen, she was part of an orchestra that placed second in Kiwanis Festival. She also was part of the Toronto Youth Orchestra, which is extremely difficult to get into. Throughout her grade nine year, she recorded music every other week with the Juno Award Winning producer Greg Kavagnah. At this point she had been studying the guitar, and had twenty songs that she had written since she was twelve. She was able to finish her first self-titled demo within the year. She still continues to write music about many topics ranging from personal relationships, independence, and many other issues that are faced by any sixteen year old woman. In addition to music, she also excels in school. Her favourite subjects are math and science. She is a very determined person and has always has an A average. In her grade ten year she made the High Honour Roll, meaning that her average was above 90 percent. She used her singing and writing skills to her advantage as well. In grade ten as part of Civics project, she wrote and performed a song that raised awareness about poverty in India. She also wrote a song that dealt with the challenges of growing up. At her school she was involved in the Senior Theatre Production and was part of the Senior Choir. She is currently co-head of Senior Choir. In addition to her music, she also has many other interests, many of which involve being active. She even played football on her school team in seventh grade. In grade nine, she was part of the track and field team. She enjoys running very much, and ran the Sporting Life 10km run when she was fifteen. She also has been dancing since grade two and has studied many styles including Ballet, Jazz and Hip-Hop. She has recently discovered that she has a passion for yoga, as it helps with breathing, and therefore, with singing. During the winters she is very enthusiastic about snowboarding. Sarah is always finding new ways to keep active. Sarah is a talented vocalist with a very large range, and is also very skilled in the guitar and viola. She is a great performer; she performed original material at a charity concert in May of 2007 at the world renowned Opera House in downtown Toronto. Her style can be classified as pop-rock. People have compared her to and Sheryl Crow and Alanis Morissette. Sarah Dylan Songs | 1. | Dreamer |

$12.99 When was the last time that you were absolutely thrilled by a jazz concert? There are many good concerts, but a concerts that „really blows you away“...Exactly this happened to me and my label partner Thomas Siffling when we attended the concert of Kristjan Randalu who was rewarded the „Jazz award of Baden-Württemberg 2007“, the highest endowed jazz price in Germany. On the stage only a piano and percussion – but what followed was such a perfect blend of creativity, intensity, beauty, musicality, energy, excellence, wonderful arrangements and an almost unbelievable interaction which to us seems really world class – and we are not the only fans of Randalu: Peter Erskine, Herbie Hancock and Till Brönner are fans as well!Randalu already performed on a Grammy nominated CD (feat. Tony Scott and Eddie Daniels) and we are very proud to present this new concert to you on JAZZ’n’ARTS, a concert which is at the same time awesome, entertaining and very profound. A repertoire ranging from Estonian folk songs, classical music (Dvorak), original compositions to phenomenal new interpretations of jazz standards. We are curious to hear how you will like the album and would be happy to hear your comments!more about the bandKristjan Randalu and Bodek Janke are currently both living and working in New York – but they have known each other from childhood, both growing up in Karlsruhe, Germany. The Estonian pianist and composer Kristjan Randalu started his music education at the age of 6 in Tallinn - both his parents being classical pianists.
