THE ENCHANTED LIFE OF JENNIFER ST CLAIRA move to St. Simons Island from Atlanta occurred in March of 1997. There in the midst of ancient currents along the marshlands, inspirational ideas flowed into the heart of a classically trained musician. Some found their place while walking on the beach. Others, under the comforting shade of the Live Oaks. Even the sand displayed pictures on its vast canvas for her to interpret. Music written, she returned to Atlanta for production of Album One. Enchantment lingered from the island. It must be found again. And so it was. This time in the Enchanted Forest of the North Georgia mountains. Now, more inspiration fills Jennifer's heart as she continues her mission to spread beauty, love and joy through the Universal language of music and art. BiographyThe NSJO, although a short history as an assembled group, has a long history of performing together. The core horn group of the NSJO is "The Tuscaloosa Horns" (tuscaloosahorns ) who have been one of Motown's top call horn lines since the mid 80s performing with groups such as The 4 Tops, Mary Wilson & The Supremes, The O'Jays, Levert & are on the latest Temptations recording "Awesome". Add a few more horn players, a rhythm section, incredible soloists & contemporary big band charts & you have the New South Jazz Orchestra. Each musician in the group has incredible performance and teaching credentials in the commercial genres of Jazz/Funk/R&B. Since his last album of new material, 1999's Innamorare, Ottmar Liebert has been represented in the record racks by two repackagings of his earlier material, one a reissue of his best-selling debut, Nouveau Flamenco, in which he had a hand, and the other a compilation of his early recordings for Higher Octave Records. Little Wing has the feel of another reissue, even though it is newly recorded. Having reconsidered his first work and, as he makes clear in the liner notes, begun to consider future projects (including solo guitar and synthesizer albums), he seems to have decided to make an album in the style of his popular initial recordings.
