| | REO Speedwagon Wheels Are Turnin' CD REO Speedwagon Discography of CDs
(1 Customer Review)
REO Speedwagon continued their commercial winning streak with their 1984 release, WHEELS ARE TURNIN'. Like its predecessor, GOOD TROUBLE, WHEELS wasn't as stellar as their quintessential '81 release, HI INFIDELITY, but still contained several big hits and radio faves. MTV had become a big factor in the success of rock artists by the mid '80s, and REO made the transition fine. Some of their heavily-aired clips, including those for the quirky rocker "I Do'wanna Know" and the tender "Can't Fight This Feeling," proved to be some of REO's most popular, perennial hits. | | Quiet Riot Rehab CD (2006)
Wheels Are Turnin' CD music
$13.85 It's become increasingly difficult to keep track of all the different lineup switches that have occurred in Quiet Riot over the years, with the speed of guitarists and bassists coming and going only increasing by the early 21st century. As of their 2006 release, Rehab, the most familiar bandmembers include singer Kevin DuBrow and drummer Frankie Banali, who are now joined by guitarist Neil Citron and bassist Tony Franklin. Despite the constant lineup fluctuation, the group's anthemic, party hearty metal style still remains. Album opener "Free" shows that DuBrow's voice still sounds identical to the group's Metal Health ...
| | Toto IV CD (1982)
Wheels Are Turnin' music CDs
$6.29 Principally recorded at Sunset Sound and Record One, Los Angeles, California.
Ultradiscs are mastered from the original master tapes using Mobile Fidelity's proprietary mastering technique, then plated with 24 karat gold and housed in a stress-resistant lift-lock jewel box.
This is a multichannel Super Audio CD playable only on Super Audio CD players.
Although Toto's second and third albums (HYDRA and TURN BACK, respectively) didn't fare well commercially, especially when compared to the group's self-titled debut, 1982's TOTO IV brought the band to a whole new level of success. The cadre of Los Angeles session players pooled their talents to create a potent form of market-savvy arena rock, which resulted in the inescapable smash singles "Rosanna" and "Africa." While those two tunes, both penned (at least in part) by keyboardist David Paich, easily outshine the rest of TOTO IV, the record does feature enjoyable, upbeat songs such as "Make Believe" and "We Made It," which showcase the buoyant vocals of Bobby Kimball and the formidable guitar rif

While the voice of Kevin Cronin is probably the best known ingredient of the REO Speedwagon sound, guitarist Gary Richrath's smoking leads are also an important element (if an unfortunately oft-overlooked one), and their last release of the '70s--1979's NINE LIVES--contains some of Richrath's best six-string ...

| | Sarah Jayde Cajun And Texas Swing CD (2008)
Wheels Are Turnin' music CDs
$17.09 As with many first recordings, Jayde's first release is mainly taken from songs she has been performing in her live shows. The Texas swing songs come from farmiliar sources such as Bob Wills and Spade Cooley. The Cajun songs are all South Louisiana favorites that have been popularized at dances and Fais do do's.It should be noted that the version of Jole Blon that Jayde has chosen to record is that of the legendary Harry Choates. This is the version that her grandfather, Hadley J. Castille learned after hearing it played almost non-stop on the juke boxes in Leonville. Of special interest is Jayde's recording of the old waltz, L'anse Belaire. Also known as the Mulberry Waltz, it was discovered by conversations with Jayde's great grandmother, Mrs. Mary Shay, who lived with the family, that the song was based on true events that happened to Mrs. Shay's grandmother. So now, we have a fourth generation Cajun musician performing a song based on events that happened to her great, great, great grandmother. Having been surrounded by music all her life, it is only natural that Sarah Jayde Williams would be the fourth generation of the musical Castille clan to pick up and instrument and play. Initially trained at the age of four as a classical violinest, Jayde soon ...
| | Clairvoyant The Weather CD (2009)
Wheels Are Turnin' songs
$11.39 Commentary section follows: Clairvoyant has a new album out under No One Civilian Records and it's titled "The Weather". It's been a vision of mine for some time now and it's finally a reality set to record. Recording took place at Iceberg Studios during the fall of 2008 and the results are most exciting. Enjoy the freshly prepared drum beats along side a hearty portion of bass and medium well guitars. You can have some desert with your choice of lead guitars, synthesizers, and sweetly layered vocals. All 10 of these menu items were made healthy with your wellness and great future in mind. The concept for The Weather extends from Clairvoyants first EP in that it discusses events in which we are familiar but just can't fully explain. For instance whenever you are thinking of a particular person and shortly after they call your phone or you see them at the grocery store. Also maybe your thinking of a particular subject and you begin to see your ideas all over the television or over hear others talking about these same ideas you had just been recently marinating. These situations happen to us all the time I'm sure, sometimes with ...
