| | Chris Young Man I Want To Be CD (2009)
Mike Oldfield: Tubular Bells, Part 1 (Version For Two Pianos And Two Synthesizers - Ver CD music
$9.19 Since Chris Young appeared on the "Nashville Star" television program in 2006, he's been on a roll. After signing with RCA he had a hit with "Drinkin' Me Lonely," his first single from his self-titled debut recording. Likewise, the two singles that have preceded the release of THE MAN I WANT TO BE in 2009 haven't done too badly either, getting plenty of play on radio. While Chris Young's sound is firmly in the contemporary country camp, it's also a lot more hardcore honkytonk than it is the refried '70s rock clichés that plague the genre. Part of that is due to his big booming baritone voice that rings as clear as a bell in this mix. (Think George ...

| | Michael Horsphol Piano Works CD (2008)
Mike Oldfield: Tubular Bells, Part 1 (Version For Two Pianos And Two Synthesizers - Ver CD music
$16.39 'Piano Works' is a compilation of fifteen of my best piano pieces and some of the scores from these are lodged with the Australian Music Centre in Sydney. The pieces are a blend of classical and impressionist with some jazz elements. The opening track, 'Love of Two Lakes', was inspired by my walks in the Cradle Mountain area. The 'Luella' series was inspired by walks in the central mountain areas of Tongariro Park in New Zealand.BiographyBorn in Sydney on the 19th September 1951, Michael Horsphol received his early musical tuition from various private teachers, obtaining his Piano performance and teaching diplomas from Trinity College through studies with the Newcastle piano and theory teacher Joyce Blewitt. He also received an Honours Diploma in Composition from the Academy of Musicology in Q.L.D. Between 1984 and 1994 he lived in the Hunter Valley, in NSW, teaching piano and keyboards. Horsphol found simple improvisation techniques to be a way of opening the creative talents ...
