Real Mccoys - The Complete Season 3 DVD

 GREAT FAMILY FUN
I enjoyed the first two season dvd's and this one is just as good. For good clean family comedy fun, this is what tv was meant to be I'm looking forward to getting the rest of this fine series. I enjoyed The Real McCoys when I was growing up and I'm glad that they are now available for purchase. There are very few tv shows worth watching today so I'll continue to search for more of the old tv series.

 It's old vs. young...It's family vs. Grandpa....
Amos McCoy makes the decisions for his family. Right or wrong...and usually wrong...he demands that his words be the house law. Strict to his beliefs and as stubborn as his barn mule (Walter Brennan) as the McCoy grandpa has never been known to show fear or a :What me worry?: His business and family decisions usually turns the household into a reverse spin. Soon his closest friend George McMichael's (Andy Clyde) is at his throat not to mention Luke, little Luke, Kate and Hassie. Even the U.S. Air Force has felt the wrath of Grandpa's tongue. But, thanks to a loving family, Grandpa gradually sees the error of his decision making and bravely issues apologies to all those concerned. The Real McCoys began in the late 1950's. To this day it stands as a well crafted family comedy. Ignore the fact that it is in black and white. Good family shows were made that way back when. And most important you don't have to live on a farm to love this family. After you get to know them, you may just entertain thoughts of visiting that farm.
