Wii port of the first original title from Capcom's now defunct Clover Studio -- headed up by Viewtiful Joe producer Atsushi Inaba.The multiple award-winning action adventure Ōkami is now available on the Wii! Use the Wii Remote as a paintbrush to solve puzzles, create pathways, chop down trees or turn night into day. Ōkami comes alive through beautiful scenic 3D levels that have the appearance and texture of paper scrolls brushed with watercolor-like calligraphy art. Playing as Amaterasu, the sun goddess who takes on the form of a wolf, your goal is to bring life back to the world. Redesigned to take advantage of this unique platform, the Wii version sports widescreen graphics and motion controls. A marvelous fantasy adventure
You can buy this one because you sure will like it. The magic, the fantasy in this long and epic adventure is amazing. I love this game! Buy it!

This game was one of my favorites on the PS2 but it was not what we call a financial success... when I heard about the Wii port, I couldn't think of a better match (Celestial Brush on Wii: Delightful) and got served well... this game is gorgeus and has the perfect match between challenge and gameplay... if you like adventure games, you won't regret it.

If you missed Okami in PS2 this is a must-buy! The wiimote offers a nice feeling to the brush, which you use for almost everything in the game, and it has a really nice story involving a lot of japanese folklore. The design of the game also is top-notch!

according to reviews i expected much more.
the depth is very shallow, suiting kids (up to 12 i'd say)
very repetitive - many missions are alike.
controlls aren't good. the wii remote can do much more then it is being used for in the game.
i'd give it 5.5 out of 10
