The sequel to Prodigy's thorough solo debut comes hot on the heels of 2007's equally gripping RETURN OF THE MAC, and just as the Mobb Deep founder entered the clink on a three-year sentence for illegal gun possession. All drama aside, the Queensbridge representative remains focused here, spitting sinister and brooding verses in his trademark monotone flow. The Alchemist is on board yet again, producing the record's most chilling beatscapes while Apex, Sid Roams, Ric Rude, and Havoc handle the remaining tracks. Lyrically, P maintains the level of compelling lyricism established on his previous effort, proving the lasting mettle of the Mobb Deep legacy. Mobb affiliates Big Noyd, Big Twinz, Un Pachino, and Havoc are featured.
