U2 have had some measure of commercial success before they came up with the effectively titled album "War", but "War" really cemented them as the international stars they became.

| Still amazing after 30 yrs
K, so I remember listening to 'War' time and again since the 80s. It is still in my opinion, the best U2 album.

| U2 AND WAR
U2's album WAR is definitely one to listen after listening to the Joshua Tree; as it is them at their early best, whether you agree or not with their sentiments in the lyrics.
