5 stars D'Indy Revisited Anew
Collectors will already have these works in their collections, but the music is not easily come by. In addition, the available recordings have nowhere near the sound or flexiblity of interpretation as these. Rumon Gamba is skilled at interpreting out-of-the-ordinary repertoire and the Iceland S.O. need fear no comparisons with the majors. You would do well to consider this first volume for your collection and I, for one, eagerly await the appearance of volume 2
