| | Enrique Iglesias 95/08 Exitos CD Enrique Iglesias Discography of CDs
When Enrique Iglesias first hit the music scene in the mid-1990s, detractors wondered if he'd be able to shrug off the shadow of his famous father, balladeer Julio Eglesias. Thirteen years--and three greatest-hits albums--later, no one is wondering any more. This career retrospective includes more than a dozen number-one hits, and two songs written expressly for the collection. One of those--"'Dónde Están Corazón?"-also became a number-one hit for Eglesias, thus boosting the Latin star's hit-making numbers even further.
Personnel: Carlos Paucar (guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboards, programming); Descemer Bueno (acoustic guitar); Pablo DeLa Loza (keyboards).
Photographer: Alan Silfen.

95/08 Exitos music CDs
$15.15 It's no coincidence that maverick country star Dwight Yoakam rose to prominence in Los Angeles during the 1980s, playing clubs with the likes of Los Lobos, X, and the Blasters. Yoakam's roots revivalism, which borrows equally from the Bakersfield honky-tonk of Buck Owens and vintage Sun Studios-era rockabilly, has much in common with a punk-inspired, back-to-basics approach. ...
| | Very Best Of Randy Travis CD (2004)
95/08 Exitos songs
$11.49 Randy Travis emerged in the 1980s at the forefront of country's New Traditionalist movement, with a sound that recalled classic country balladeers George Jones, Merle Haggard, and Lefty Frizzell. His pure, honest approach to heart-wrenching saloon songs resonated with country audiences in a major way, making him a star. This 20-song collection is a single-disc distillation of Travis's long, fruitful career, and is the perfect place to start exploring his work.
While there are some up-tempo honky-tonk numbers here, it's the slow-burn ballad that is Travis's stock in trade, and there's ...
