Stain of Mind can be traced back to a suburban basement in 1997 where guitarist Tony Caraffa and bassist Adam Dion hooked up with Ryan Hill, the original drummer. The addition of Igal Kaplun as a second guitarist in 1998 created a four piece that went through countless singers until Matt Goldstein joined the group in 2000.
