Enter Paul Styan from Alvarez, Paul heard me playing an acoustic set in a dingy venue in Scarborough on the North East Coast of England. Afterwards he came and talked to me, gave me his card and told me to send him a demo of my songs, of course I thoroughly expected never to see him again. Three weeks later a deal was signed to make this album. Many of these songs will explain themselves, others I'll leave you to apply your own interpretation. They largely recount the feelings and emotions we all feel as we pass through life, joy, anger, love, hate, jealousy, regret, desire, bliss, happiness, boredom, loneliness, there all here. Please enjoy it. Music has been my great and only faithful companion, and has been the greatest healing and celebratory tool in my armory. I hope you enjoy it.
