To pull off this nearly impossible task, he quickly assembles an eclectic crew--including a card shark (Brad Pitt), a pickpocket (Matt Damon), an explosives expert (Don Cheadle), and an aging gambler (Carl Reiner)--and seeks financial backing from a freewheeling casino mogul (Elliott Gould) who holds a grudge against Benedict. However, it soon becomes apparent that Ocean has more at stake than money and his newly found freedom--his ex-wife, Tess (Julia Roberts), just happens to be Benedict's new girlfriend. Can Ocean steal back Tess's heart and more than a hundred million dollars at the same time?
Continuing an impressive streak of films that began with OUT OF SIGHT and THE LIMEY and exploded into even wider acclaim and popularity with ERIN BROCKOVICH and TRAFFIC, Steven Soderbergh helms this star-studded caper flick with a strong sense of style and humor. Clooney and Pitt, in particular, have a great rapport and both exude a suave, laid-back charm. Damon, Cheadle, Gould, and Reiner all provide excellent comic turns, while Garcia gives an appropriately sinister performance. The whole glittery package is topped off by David Holmes' engaging score, which ties together the sounds and moods of Hollywood past and present. GREAT FILM
BRAD PITT WAS SO GOOD IN OCEANS 11. I REALLY ENJOYED HIS ELEGANT CHARM AND CONFIDENCE. IT WAS A GOOD LOOKING GUYS FILM NOT MUCH OF JULES. I LOVED IT. BUT WHAT AN DUMB IDEA NOT TO BE TRIED AT HOME, A HEIST ON A CASINO!

If you get rid of the gibberish talk from Don Cheadle and removed almost all the actors, replace them with the original Rat Pack you'd have a mega hit. In its own this is a movie tribute to the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas. Its a great place to visit.
Far out in concept with a bomb that knocks out the Vegas electricity on the roof of a building is rediculious.
Some fun, some laughs.

A funny, dramatic crime caper movie in Ocean's 11!
It was a really good movie which it's based on the 1960's Rat Pack version. It had Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis were the celebrity actors in the movie. Instead we've got the remake with a new age story than the original classic. This different movie version has George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia and also Julia Roberts. For what as I like to call them the future brat pack celebrity gang. Just like the movies quote phrase from Ocean's Eleven "Are You In?", "Or Are You Out?".

Actor Chiwetel Ejiofor follows his turn in AMERICAN GANGSTER by taking the lead role in this thoughtful fight movie from writer/director David Mamet. Ejiofor plays Mike Terry, a man who runs his own Jiu-jitsu studio in Los Angeles. Terry's business is failing, causing tension between him and his wife, Sondra (Alice Braga).
