| Bugged out Phenomena movie What a creepy character that girl was, she could control bugs or something along those lines. Another great example of Argento's work, I liked this one through to the end. By lostinflames (Shasta Lake, CA USA) |
| Argento's Favorite Phenomena video Some people really like this one, include it seems Argento himself. Phenomena film But for me this one kind is one of my least favorites of his. It sarts out really good but gets kind bogged down in the middle. Comming in at 110mins. make this a longer then most Argento movies. Too much character devlopment for a chage from Mario leads to a slower moving movie then some might be used to from him. Overall it's good. Just slow at times. Have patience. You'll eventually be rewarded with a scene worth waiting for. By rock2731 (DAYTON, OHIO) |
| Dvd tranfer sucks Phenomena review The movie it's self is awesome but the dvd transfer was aweful, the movie was obviously recorded off tv, the swearing in the movie was actually beep out, ruining the enjoyment factor of this cheap dvd and it is very obvious why the movie is selling for only 3.79$.. | THE BEST SCENE EVER Phenomena DVD for sale THIS FILM HAS TO HAVE THE BEST SCENE IN ALL CINEMA. THE SCENE WHERE JENNIFER'S CHARACTER TRIES TO COMFORT THE BOY WHO IS BACK ON TO HER THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE ALL RIGHT. SHE REACHES OUT TO HIM AND THEN NO I WONT SPOIL IT ON THOSE THAT MAY NOT HAVE VIEWED THIS FILM. BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY THE (afi) got it wrong with thier choice of best scene but I did not. when you see it you might agree. man just thinking of it gives me a jolt. man have I got the creepers. Phenomena DVD Features
Brace yourself for an all-new look at one of the most wildly original films ever from writer/director Dario Argento, an insane epic of terror, wonder, and jaw-dropping carnage. Jennifer Connelly stars as an outcast student at a Swiss boarding school who discovers both her telepathic power to control insects and the gore-soaked trail of a razor-wielding killer. Can a kindly professor (Donald Pleasence of HALLOWEEN) now harness her ‘gift' to stop the bloodbath of a psychopath? Daria Nicolodi (TENEBRE), Dalila Di Lazzaro (FLESH FOR FRANKENSTEIN) and Fiore Argento (DEMONS) co-star — along with a pounding soundtrack by Goblin, Bill Wyman, Iron Maiden and Motörhead — in the shocker that remains a favorite of Argento fans as well as one of the most brutally original horror thrillers of the ‘80s.
