Flow and Plenty were forged in the heart of Fitzroy on stage at the Evelyn Hotel's hip hop night in May 2006. This exciting collaboration of artists from Melbourne's improvised music scene and accomplished circus performer/rhymer Noah MC generate an original blend of Hip Hop, Roots and Vintage Soul. The band draws its inspiration from artists such as âThe Rootsâ, âD'Angeloâ, âMiles Davisâ, âSkunkhourâ, âCommonâ and âFat Freddys Dropâ. Featuring Noah MC Marley (Vocals), Jules Waters-Lynch (Keyboards), Cesar Rodrigues (Guitars), Michael Story (Basses) and Silas Gibson (Drums). Flow and Plenty blend a strong, positive message through their lyrics with well crafted musical statements. They create a fine tapestry of jazz, hip hop, soul, RnB and blues woven through meticulous song arrangements which has been captured beautifully on their self titled EP which has just been released independently. The recording was a collaboration between the band and some of the best engineers, mixers, musicians and visual artists in Melbourne, to create an authentic artistic statement about the music they love. Highlights for the group have included performances supporting Sydney bands âGood Buhdaâ and âLordz of the Flyâ. The 2008 St Kilda Festival and The Brunswick Music Festival, and they have put on shows with top Hip Hop acts from Melbourne âIllzillaâ, âThe Melodicsâ and âSS Peckerâ. The band has toured to Sydney and Bondi, and is in the process of planning a tour to promote their new release whilst performing and gaining airplay nationally. With one record out the band is eager to travel and record again, capturing their energy and projecting their positive Australian message out to the masses. $11.15 ...And the Hip-Hop industry was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the underground . . . and out of that darkness came a GOD for the Hip-Hop Universe that begot a man . . .his name . . . was Father Jah. That is just one of many introductions that can be given to this self-made, entrepreneur known simply to the world as Father Jah. With more than 10 yr. of dominating the underground music scene, Father Jah has truly paved his own way in this world we now officially call hip-hop. Father Jah, a.k.a. Hen X the Stile, was slangin his packaged tapes of original music as a young teen in the early 1990âs, already working towards the goal of becoming one of industries next top Hip-Hop Moguls. In 1992 Father Jah, then known as Hen X the Stile, made his first six track EP, which he co-produced and wrote himself, entitled "Countdown to the Beatdown". Since then, Father Jah has created several albums and worked along side numerous artist in the underground hip hop circuit. Though based in Kentucky, Father Jah has toured independently all across the United States collaborating, building, and chopping game, while simultaneously building an unstopable resume that would include collaborations with nationally known artists such as Lil Jon, Nappy Roots, M1 of Dead Prez, Imam Thug, Native, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Dinco D of Leaders of the New School, and Shawn J of Field Mob, to modestly name a few. ...

Flow & Plenty CD music
$5.99 Born and raised in Athens Georgia, C-Fre$h, represents a core of the rap and hip-hop movement in this Classic City. The "Prince of the Classic" is known for both his incredible metaphors and his remarkable work ethic. He has a following that is relentless and constantly evolving. Support has only grown for this roots based rapper as word has spread like fire across the independent industry. After signing with Mantooth Music, C-Fresh and Mantooth, found a sound that was original to the Classic City. This sound would be deemed, âmajestic ghetto-techâ, by Athensâ prestigious Flagpole Magazine. In June of 2007, C-Fre$h released his first mixtape, "Self-Made Vol. 1". In June of 2008, he followed with a second mixtape, âSelf-Made Vol. 2â. They were termed mixtapes, not for lack of a better word but because each compact disc contains over twenty tracks and some samples. However, they are packed with over eighty percent original production. The layout of the tracks and the art is not traditional in the sense of an average âmixtapeâ. Each CD was an experiment in both musical and visual art. In. June of 2008, C-Fresh was nominated as âBest Rap Actâ for âThe Flagpole Music Awardsâ in Athens Georgia. Not only did C-Fresh have the honor of the nomination, he was the only rap artist invited to perform at the ceremonies, which were held at The Morton Theatre, in downtown Athens. C-Fresh has been featured in ...
