Norm Peterson Island Crossing CD

Norm Peterson is a keyboardist/musician/singer/songwriter from the Seattle area with many years in the music business. Finally to a place in his life where he can write, compose & record the music he has always wanted to do. Drawing from many influences and styles this is a totally original CD really not sounding like anyone else. Very easy listening and very much music from the heart. The groove is the basis of the music and then everything floats on the top of that. Featured prominently are exciting \"guitar\' emulations played on the keyboard. Very bluesy & soulful and convincing. Norm also plays guitar but prefers to emulate these sounds via the keyboard. Vintage sounds of the Fender Rhodes electric piano, the Wurlitzer electric piano, Hammond organ, Clavinet, acoustic piano and synthesizer are featured prominently.
