| | Frank White We Aint Playin' CD Frank White Discography of CDs
Frank White: Redefining the Rap Game with New Single "We Aint Playin' The name may be ordinary, but Houston independent rap label owner Frank White has proven he’s an extraordinary businessman. With over a decade of experience, White is redefining how the world sees “southern country rap.” Digi-Cards are cards that have music on them that you can download music straight on your computer to your MP3 player and I-Pod. "These cards are great, I'm just fortunate to be one of the first Independent artist in the Great State of Texas to have my music be distributed like this, I'm making history," White said. You will be able to purchase the new EP "We Ain't Playin" from a store near you in the form of a Digi-Card.It was 1999 when White decided to leave his hometown of Amarillo, Texas and take his talents to the Bayou City, thinking Houston could bring more luck in the rap arena. It’s there that he developed a love of “Screw Music" and the Houston style of rap."When I first moved to Houston, I met "Big Hawk" and he greeted me with open arms even though he didn’t know who the hell I was! Once I found out how open armed the game was, I decided to pursue my career as an indie label owner (Unkutt Records) with my brother Prez-D and a writer and producer.”The brothers’ hard work is paying off. With seven releases from Unkutt Records and sales that are turning heads (they sold 25,000 units independently), White and his brother are looking at a bright future in the rap game. And they’re working with some of the best talents to make that happen. “The beats in our music are hot,” White said. “The producers I mess with can work for anybody and probably have." White – who has a degree from Sam Houston State University - has worked with artists from California, New York and Texas, including Sean Blaze who has worked with 50 cent on the Get Rich or Die Trying album and Chammillionaire on the Sound of Revenge. White’s job is not without its difficulties. Among the most challenging, obtaining a distribution company he can trust to handle his music.“Getting distribution deals are difficult right. Independent labels are struggling with finding individual handling as the music industry is moving away form the store front.” White said.White is confident if anyone can make it happen, he can. His goal is to prove himself as an artist, produce quality music, stay consistent day to day and grow as an artist.”White also just finished the movie "At All Cost" in which he stars in as a car salesman from Amarillo, Texas that pursues his dream of music and moves to Houston."It was a blessing to experience doing an independent film, I am truly blessed".And with multiple projects on his plate, White believes the sky is the limit. “Five years from now, I see myself as part of the new revolution in the music industry. Since I hate to lose and love to win, I know with God first I'll make it happen!” We Aint Playin' Music | Category | Rap Albums | | Label | CD Baby | | CD Universe Part number | 7644029 | | Catalog number | 184787 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Mar 04, 2008 | | Additional Info | Enhanced |

We Aint Playin' album
$9.58 Had Clipse made a concerted attempt to outstrip Hell Hath No Fury, Til the Casket Drops would have likely come out sounding like self-parody. The Thorntons' previous set was so cold, lean, and efficient, the product of the circumstances under which it was made, that it is impossible to imagine an album of identical makeup trumping it. So, for the most part, Pusha T and Malice approached their third album -- their first for Columbia -- as a reflection of where they were at when they recorded it. And while nine of its 13 tracks were produced by the Neptunes, who were operating at the top of their game throughout Hell Hath No Fury, the beats here are busier, fuller-sounding, and they mingle well with the productions that come from DJ Khalil and Sean C & LV. In order to be heard over these relatively ...
| | Rakim Seventh Seal CD (2009) Digipak
We Aint Playin' CD music
$13.04 The long-anticipated third album from Rakim took a decade to arrive, but rabid fans should be warned that this is not a case of "ten years in the making". Nothing here is over two years old, so none of the unreleased Dr. Dre tracks fans have hoped for are included, but chances are they wouldn't have fit. With most songs focusing on the chorus, The Seventh Seal strives to connect with a 2009 audience ...

| | Notorious B I G Life After Death CDs (1997)
We Aint Playin' album
$19.29 LIFE AFTER DEATH was nominated for a 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "Hypnotize" was nominated for a 1988 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. "Mo Money Mo Problems" was nominated for a 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group.
The double-CD LIFE AFTER DEATH arrives in stores, ironically and tragically, less than three weeks after the Notorious B.I.G. was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles. Biggie Smalls, as he was known, quickly became one of rap's most respected MCs after the 1994 release of his debut album, READY TO DIE. His music sparked the comeback of East Coast hip-hop, while his very being added fire to rap's over-publicized East-West rivalry. For some (see "Playa Hater"), Biggie's success was too much to handle, and he became a primary target in hip-hop's continuing feud. Never feeding into that war on wax, B.I.G. chose to remain silent, until LIFE AFTER DEATH became a reality, and the situation spoke for itself.
Although song titles like "You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You)" eerily mirror the real-life tragedy, the ...
| | Very Best Of The Spinners CD (1993)
We Aint Playin' CD music
$7.99 The Spinners were rivaled only by the O'Jays as the greatest Philly soul group, and for that matter the greatest vocal group of the '70s. For listeners who don't want to dig as deeply as the excellent double-CD anthology One of a Kind Love Affair, Rhino's The Very Best of the Spinners is a stellar single-disc career summary that offers a concentrated dose of the group's sweet soul magic. It also serves as a primer on the best work of Thom Bell, Philly soul's "other" great producer besides the legendary Gamble & Huff team. Incredibly, every one of the 16 tracks here -- culled from 1970-1980 ...

We Aint Playin' CD music
$9.89 Weaned on apples, fresh west coast mountain air and salt from the sea breeze, Zach now embraces the humidity, smog and concrete of Toronto as home. Zach says: art is the delightful pursuit of meaning in life. This pursuit has taken Zach from coast to coast as a folksinger, actor, songwriter and disco-dancing street performer called Discoman. Classical piano lessons, and jazz saxophone kept zach musically active throughout most of his life. At university Zach became more politically active and discovered the music of Phil Ochs. The music and life story of Ochs inspired Zach to take up the guitar and perform a one-man play about the folksinger titled The Ballad of Phil Ochs. His passion for performing the show took him to unexpected places. This folk musical, funded, in part, by his Disco street act toured from ...

| | Amanda Droste Unfazed CD (2008)
We Aint Playin' songs
$15.19 Amanda Droste is no American Idol, and she is sure to let you know it on her sarcastically titled tune -”American Idle”. Just one of 10 gems on her first full-length album, “UNFAZED” has debuted to glowing reviews. Released February 14th, 2008 at www.AmandaDroste.com, it already has critics claiming, “Her brand of snappy pop-punk songs are better than most of the music out right now.” After working and writing with industry pro’s such as Sony’s own Andre Deyo (writer: Jennifer Lopez), and Jimmy Greco (writer/producer: Santana), Amanda sought out producer Bart Migal for her own project. Together they built strong rock songs with playful pop hooks, genuine lyrics and varied personas. The contrast of whispered intimate stories and forceful biting narratives means Amanda’s “Unfazed” is already drawing comparisons ranging from Liz Phair to Alanis. Though she “sounds far less pretentious and forced than Avril could ever hope ...
