They say a memorable song lives forever. I believe that is true. But what is a memorable song? By definition it is easy to remember but it is also more than that. Whether it was originally written for a performer, a movie or a play (as mine were) it must transcend that to become personally meaningful to those that truly listen. Each song is a key to your personal treasure chest of memories. Only you can save them and recall them no matter when they were stored. Memories can never truly be lost. We will have them forever. But we need the emotional key that only a memorable song can provide to keep them safe within our minds and hearts and to relive them.I composed all songs in this album for my plays, HOLLYWOOD ROSE, THERE FOR YOU and THE CAMEO KID except for the last three. I composed “Never Let It Be Said” and “Its Never Been Done Before” for two country music singers. “Enduring Freedom” is a patriotic marching song that I composed just a few days after 9/11 to honor all the fallen heroes of America. It shall always be a reminder of the blessings of living in freedom and how fortunate we Americans are.If you are someone who listens to a memorable song written years ago by any one of the dozens of great American popular song composers and then say “They don’t write songs like that anymore”, my songs are for you but not for you only. My goal is to reach the hearts and minds of everyone and begin to recreate a time when memorable songs were more plentiful and loved by all. The revolution to return to that time has begun. Join me.David Conforte, Composer P.S. The album title song, “There For You” was composed as a contemporary wedding vow. It is considered by many to be the loveliest song ever composed for a musical play. David Conforte There For You Songs | 1. | There For You |

Beginning with Louis Armstrong, through Harry James and Bobby Hackett of the Jackie Gleason Orchestra, the trumpet was once a king in pop music. This was true even in '60s-era easy listening, as demonstrated by the success of Al Hirt, Herb Alpert, and the ultra-shrewd ...

There For You
$13.15 Caesar is extremely elusive and as his music suggests, quite eccentric. He has no tolerance for the way things are typically done which is clearly demonstrated by this wonderfully refreshing break from the norm, full of rock, pop, noise and melody. This disc contains four songs that have hit the top ten at Broadjam.com: "Put It In The Closet" and "I'm Gonna Make You Remember Me", "Unwind Me" and "I Am Your Problem"!REVIEWS & COMMENTS:"If John Lenon were alive today, this is what he'd be doing!" - Platinum Mastering Engineer, Roger Seibel"In the pantheon of musicians crazy enough to attempt an album's worth of songs whose jumping-off points include freakish, ever-changing time signatures (within the same song, yet); cookie-cutter remnants of traditional verse-chorus song structure; and, last but certainly ...
