This interesting early postwar musical combines the musicomedy warhorses of the '40s with the rising Hollywood stars of the '50s, including the lovely Elizabeth Taylor. Date With Judy DVD for sale Choreography by Stanley Donen (who later went on to direct SINGIN' IN THE RAIN) distinguishes a plot about teenage doings before a big dance. A DATE WITH JUDY also includes the songs "It's a Most Unusual Day" and "Cuanto La Gusta" (with Carmen Miranda!).

Outstanding talent
Date With Judy movie This movie can be enjoyed today as it was in the late 1950's. Delightful comedy. Jane Powell stole the show with her bubbly character and her marvellous voice. A feel good movie.
