Awake Live album by Josh Groban was released May 06, 2008 on the Reprise label. As the title suggests, AWAKE LIVE is fundamentally a live recording of Josh Groban's smash 2007 album, AWAKE, in a slightly juggled running order. Fans who enjoyed the studio album will likely appreciate how faithful to the originals Groban is on these takes, a testament to his astonishing vocal gifts. Better still, AWAKE LIVE also comes with a bonus DVD. A full live concert recorded in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2007, this 21-track set is both a welcome souvenir for those who saw Groban on this tour, and a fine introduction to his smooth adult-contemporary sound and easy stage charm for those who have not had the live Josh Groban experience. Groban headlines this DVD/CD set featuring live version of several of his hits plus appearances by Angelique Kidjo and Lucia Micarelli. Filmed in 2007 in Salt Lake City, in honor of his first arena concert, which was held in the same city where he performed at the 2002 Winter Olympics closing ceremonies, the DVD raises up ever higher the most popular young adult contemporary star of our era.

THIS CD/DVD COLLECTION IS A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY JOSH GROBAN FAN! I HAVE BEEN TO ONE OF HIS AWAKE CONCERTS AND IT BLEW ME AWAY. YOU CAN FEEL THE EMOTION OF ALL THE SONGS.
