| Another filler album Sarah McLachlan must be the queen of filler albums. She has four albums of original material, but she has five filler albums. "Freedom Sessions" is a compilation of songs from 1993's "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" and they are presented as demos of the original versions. "Elsewhere" does not work with the acoustic arrangement, but "Hold On", "Good Enough" and "Plenty" are all stand-outs. Sarah's cover of Tom Wait's "Ol'55" is another gem. Maybe I would appreciate this album more if Sarah wouldn't release so many albums of songs we've heard one million times, but I can only recommend "Freedom Sessions" for huge Sarah McLachlan fans. | A great album promoting peace and love. The songs were great, the music was great. It was definitely easy listening, something i would let my kids listen to. By a reviewer (Danbury, NH) This review is for a different format. |
