Batman and Robin save Gotham City from the Catwoman, Joker, Penguin and Riddler. Stars Adam West, Burt Ward, Cesar Romero, Lee Meriwether, Burgess Meredith. Kaaapowie! Holy feature film, Batman... one based on the tongue-in-cheek, campy 1960's television series. Watch Batman and Robin battle sharks, Catwoman, The Joker and The Riddler on the big screen. Can they try to prevent the bad guys from taking over the world? With a "wham!" and a "pow!" and a "zip!"... our heroes just might win. This full-length Batman movie was unleashed during the height of the television show's popularity in 1966, taking America to dizzying levels of superhero camp it had never before experienced. In stark contrast with the many dark and gritty incarnations of Batman, the film features all four of the famous crime fighter's most dastardly and cunning adversaries--the Penguin, the Joker, the Riddler, and Catwoman--joining forces to take over the world thanks to a De-Hydrator that turns people into piles of dust. The Caped Crusader and his trusty sidekick Robin pull out all the stops to thwart the bad guys, even if it means a BIFF! or a KA-POW! Before Keaton, before Bale, Adam West was...Batman. Rated BBFC U by the British Board of Film Classification.

A little too campy for some I will admit that this was a little before my time and it's rediculously campy, but I thought it was pretty good. Submitted by Blake (Brandon,MS) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.
POW! BIFF! OOF! I love the BATMAN Movie being on DVD! It is very well put together, and, for those who are familiar with the emotional 'vibes' of the television series, they are 'felt' throughout the movie. I have been a fan of the series for years, and, I am happy that the movie was put out on DVD format. I don't know just when that was, but it is about time. And, it is about time the series is put on DVD, too -- I would surely buy the complete collection should it become available. Submitted by C. E. (MILLEDGEVILLE, GA) Was This Review Helpful? $23.15 After PRIDE AND PREJUDICE and ATONEMENT, Keira Knightley continues her reign as the queen of the period film with this 18th-century costume drama. The corset-clad actress stars as Georgiana Spenser, the Duchess of Devonshire. With her marriage to the duke (Ralph Fiennes), Georgiana achieves an impressive level of fame as Britons follow both her clothing style and her political advice. But even celebrity and wealth can't act as a salve in her marriage to the boring, boorish duke. When he begins to flaunt his affairs, Georgiana is tempted to return to a teenage crush, Charles Grey (Dominic Cooper of THE HISTORY BOYS), to the anger of her husband and her mother (Charlotte Rampling, SWIMMING POOL).
Fiennes's portrayal of the duke ranks roughly with his Lord Voldemort on a scale of beastly behavior, but the acclaimed actor ...

Batman: The Movie review
$31.05 Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson star as Anne and Mary Boleyn in this adaptation of the bestselling novel by Philippa Gregory. While their story is perhaps one of history's most well known, THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL has fun with the facts, creating a lusty, dramatic tale of deception and betrayal. The film begins with the girls' power-hungry uncle (David Morrissey), discovering that King Henry VIII's (Eric Bana) marriage to Catherine of Aragon (Ana Torrent) is falling apart. Their uncle suggests to their father (Mark Rylance) that he tempt the King into taking Anne (Portman) as his mistress, thus putting the family in the King's favor. But ...
