Piper/Can't Wait CD

 Finally, no more waiting for these great albums.
No pun intended, but Can't Wait and the debut Piper is an undersatement when I say the albums have been long overdue for CD release. I'm sure A&M or maybe some other reason was the reason for the delay. My LPs were getting a little worn and I was not going to pay Japanese import pricing despite how great these albums are. These albums take me back to my days of party and fun just out of high school. Billy sounds so original in Piper. So much better then what became a commercial sounding band. I know anyone that who has not heard these albums (CDs) and loves Billy Squier will certainly not be disappointed. Tommy, Ritchie, Alan, and Danny sound great too! The sound quality is great. I was a little concerned prior to ordering since it was released on a label I was not familiar with but all is good. 2 albums on 1 CD for under 10 bucks? What a steal! Hope to hear Billy play these songs in concert and bring these albums back to life. Thanks Billy for getting Piper release. You da man! Bob Plourde....Grapevine, Texas (formerly Boston area).

 Classic 70'S Rock
Finally after all these years some label (American Beat) had the brains to put out these two classic albums and as a 2 on 1 so it's a real steal. To me this stuff is every bit as good as Billy's solo stuff and it's sounds more like a real band than a solo artist with session musicians...both albums are good but the Piper "Piper" album is still my favorite of the two...Classic stuff.

 Finally on CD!!!
Billy Squier's old band Piper were really a good band. A long time ago when I heard these albums on lp I really liked them. In the past few years I've looked for them on cd and no luck. My lps were wore out and missed listening to them. FINALLY, I look recently and CD Universe had them available for the first time. Thanks American Beat Records for reissuing them and making a Billy Squier fan very happy!!

 Woooooo! Billy!
I've had these on vinyl since the 80's. I'm a huge Billy Squier fan, but I hated to play my LP's cuz I didn't want to ruin them. I was actually going to buy a USB turntable just so I could put these on my computer. Now,I don't have to! Any Billy Squier fan will appreciate the music. It's vintage! 42nd Street absoulutely rocks and there's even a cover of The Stone's Last Time. Both these albums for $10...a major deal!

 A must have for true Billy squier fans
A garage band intro into what would define Squire as a great star in rock history.I Personally love the guitar as well as the vocals, A true treasure to have in your rock Collection. These two albums sum it up from teenage angst to current legend.Long live Billy.MY wife and I conceived our first child at the Holiday Inn after a Ratt-Squier show we attended at the Blossom Ampitheatre in northern Ohio in the early eighties.
