SingStar cheats Product Description
After its breakthrough performance on PS2, Sony's SingStar series heads for the hi-def big-time with an original release for PlayStation 3. While following the lead of the earlier games, featuring karaoke-style gameplay with audio and video by the songs' original artists, the PS3's SingStar offers more music and more customization options than its predecessors. Videos are presented in high definition, and players with a USB camera accessory can capture, create, and share their own music video interpretations. ...See Full Description

| Just for fun Are you tired to play alone? This is a perfect game for u and your family... Full of fun moments with your friends... (food and drinks required...) By kabbooom (Brazil) This review is for a different format. |
| If you like to sing I have tried this and American Idol Encore from Karaoke Revolution, and this is far superior. By contrast the Idol game is a game, you can play a a round and "win" Idol. As you "win" you unlock things. Videos, other songs etc. Singstar is only measured by each song and how you do on that song. You don't unlock anything. Idol has a larger track list, but the selection is not as impressive and not performed by the original artists. The original track list on Singstar is short, but varied. You can buy more songs on both, though the selection is not huge. Basically if you like to sing, Singstar is a good time. You have the original artists, original videos, 2 mics. You can sing along with the original artists or you can even use vocal reduction to turn down the original vocals on some of the songs. You can play back or even record/save your performances. There are 3 levels, hard, medium and easy. Each requiring that you be more or less exact in pitch and tone. Sure there are ways that this could be better, but of the two karaoke games I have tried, this one performs better and is more of a good time. I had issues with Idol lagging, and distorting, even when I adjusted the mic gain etc. No such problems with Singstar. By blackwingedroses (Upstate, NY, USA) This review is for a different format. |
