Nashville performers often talk about their close connection with their audience, but for his first greatest-hits compilation, country star Dierks Bentley put his money where his mouth is. Through his website, Bentley invited his fans not only to help pick the songs of GREATEST HITS: EVERY MILE A MEMORY 2003-2008 but to choose the cover art and album title as well. The five live songs at the album's end are the results of that online voting, including fan favorites like "Come A Little Closer" and "Lot of Leavin' Left To Do." The rest of the 17-track disc includes all five of Bentley's number-one country hits and two brand new songs.
