| | Tim Bragg Take The Fruit? (Revised) CD (2008)
Living In The 90S Now CD music
$11.49 **********************************************************This is the REVISED edition of Take the Fruit? - it has my record company (publishing) version of Rise Above It (this with my vocals) and re-mixed versions of I Wish You/Life Ain't So and Song for David (for David Icke). If you download any of these songs make sure they're from this edition.**********************************************************Take the Fruit? is a soulful collection of songs ranging from the inspirational "Rise Above It" & "All Joy" to the political anti-Big Brother "Song for David" (about David Icke). Reflective moments combine with catchy tunes and thoughtful lyrics. With REAL drums this album has a solid backbone and a firmer structure than Silent Running - a definite step up!To see more of Claire Brierley's artwork click on the Two Hens link. Thoroughly enjoyed [the CD]. Great stuff mate!BLA most enjoyable CD - the live drums give it a much better feel overall. Good song structure and laid back feel throughout. CBReally enjoyed the first few 'listenings' of Take the Fruit? Great lyrics too!RHNVery uplifting! Superb lyrics!WAAt 44:35 minutes this is a good length for an album: like the old classic LPs! 'Rise Above It' has a nice bass sound, nice lead work / solo. With both bass, and banjo figures, there is a slight Fleetwood Mac influence here. 'Work it all Out' I could imagine being played live at about 2:00pm at a big festival and children dancing in puddles, because it has an excellent vibe! 'Troubadour' reminds me of Dire Straits, especially vocally. Nice drums! 'Life Ain't So' - I like the fuzzy guitar, and the synth / keyboard notes. Ended just as vocal was about to get too repetitive! Like the drums on 'Distant Charms'. Hope you will be sending David Icke a copy of "Song for David"!! ...
