| | M-150 Incomplete & Wanting EP CD M-150 Discography of CDs
M-150, a band that you can feel safe swallowing. A healthy dose of musicism injected into the mundane and numb veins of a spirit in decay. To listen to and know M-150 is to know one's self. You don't have to be ashamed anymore. We promise you this freedom. Fries. The voice of M-150 is Rob Lee. Abstract and anonymous. You can feel him inside of you but you can't see him. The hands of M-150 are Timmy J. Concrete and dirty. He reaches into your soul through any and every opening and pulls out the cheeses that haunt you. The genitals of M-150 is Matt V. Ominous and strong. He pulsates into your nether region while "making the beat" and you can feel the primal jungle roots inside of yourself burgeon with ancient fury. M-150: Simple music for complicated people. Incomplete & Wanting EP
$16.59 The BLADE movies present a murky, night-enshrouded world plagued by vampires and protected by the complex, flawed hero Blade (Wesley Snipes). The third installment of the comic-book-based series, BLADE: TRINITY, features a soundtrack that continues the tradition of assembling an excellent collection of enigmatic musical acts to add to the sinister, action-oriented mood.
Four of the album's first five tracks feature various members of the Wu-Tang Clan (a fitting match considering the collective's rich mythology), starting with the arresting track, "Fatal," by the RZA, one of the best young film composers in the business (GHOST DOG, KILL BILL). The sly "Thirsty" presents one of the last vocal tracks by the incomparable Ol' Dirty Bastard. (ODB passed away shortly before the soundtrack's 2004 release.) The staggeringly bizarre Kool Keith provides a transition, with his morbid hip-hop group Thee Undatakerz, on the pulsating "Party in the Morgue." From there, the record takes a more electronic note, highlighted by the Crystal Method's grinding "Weapons of Mad Distortion." BLADE: TRINITY closes in a more traditional mode with a track from the film's ...
| | Ali Marcus Other Side CD (2007)
Incomplete & Wanting EP
$17.75 It’s a good thing that summertime in Seattle lasts through September. Here in the Pacific Northwest we are used to strange weather patterns, and we have come to expect quite a different thing out of late summer than many people around the country. Where other places become muggy, stormy, buggy and hot, Seattle is, well, perfect. 2007 has been a little strange, the rain and the clouds lasting further into summer than we’d all hope, but lately the outlook has been bright and sunny. Late summer is also bringing us the release of Ali Marcus’ fourth record on Turtle Rock Records, The Other Side (8/28/07). Written mostly during the recording ...

| | Darcy Cotten Remember Me CD (2008)
Incomplete & Wanting EP
$17.09 “Darcy Cotten offers an intimate performance that for the most part is lost in today's, hit you over the head, approach to music. Sincerity comes across and the music rings true.” Bill PiburnEditorFingerstyle Guitar magazine***********************************************************"...about your voice—“very pretty and sweet” and perfect for the tunes you chose to record. I also like the instrumentation and the production -- it’s very tasteful, and really holds together well with all those great players.... You should be proud of this project!"Dan GabelAcoustic Guitar Magazine***********************************************************As a little girl growing up in Nashville, one of my favorite things to do would be to listen to the radio, and sing along with the music. It has always been a lifelong dream of mine to sing, but as dreams often do, they get set aside. Now after all this time, I have been fortunate enough not only to record an album, but I’ve had the opportunity to sing with some of the finest guitar players in the country. For so many years, Cotten Music has been home to Nashville musicians. It is a place where they come, not just for “supplies,” but simply to hang and talk of what is important in their lives. More often than not, a guitar will be picked up and some of the best music you’ll ever hear ...
| | Among Wolves CD (2008)
Incomplete & Wanting EP
$12.65 The Among Wolves story started in Philadelphia in winter 2001 with founder Billy Tiedeken, aka Haywood. Along with the help of his friend and ex-member Matt Tozer, Haywood started recording experimental lo-fi folk songs with chaotic sonic textures. After moving to Baltimore in early 2004 he met up with an old friend, Jimmy Cahill, also from Philadelphia. Right away the two began writing and recording songs in a small Baltimore apartment on Saint Paul Street. Apartment living kept the music they were creating on the quieter acoustic side, and the desire to create interesting but accessible music pushed them to become more creative with sounds and production ideas. Using instruments like the theremin, short wave radios, old casio keyboards, toys, and synthesizers, the sound became more than just quiet indie folk. In a span of about nine months they recorded over 70 songs and were getting a hundred plus plays a day on various websites. This collaboration caught the attention of multi-instrumentalist/producer ...
