| Green Day 21ST Century Breakdown Vinyl LP (2009) 10"; Bonus CD; Limited Edition
Warrior/He That album
$82.29 Still enamored of the concept of the concept album more than four years after AMERICAN IDIOT, Green Day unveiled its rock-opera sequel, 21ST CENTURY BREAKDOWN, in 2009. Like its predecessor, BREAKDOWN wholeheartedly embraces the iconic punk-pop act's shift to a stadium-filling sound, while also remaining loyal to the San Francisco-based trio's progressive sociopolitical outlook. Even with a president in the ...

Warrior/He That music CDs
$15.15 When Elvis first broke on the national scene, nobody--not RCA, not Elvis' manager Colonel Tom Parker, and certainly not Elvis himself--had any idea how long his popularity would last. Most assumed that rock and roll was a passing fad and that Presley would soon be relegated to the "where are they now?" bin. Unsurprisingly, RCA rushed Presley's first album to market before Elvis had recorded enough new material for an entire ...

| | Kiss Alive! Vinyl LP (1975)
Warrior/He That album
$25.65 When Kiss released the double album ALIVE in 1975, the purpose was to capture the spark and energy of their electrifying live shows. Although the spectacular lighting, Gene Simmons' blood-spitting and Ace Frehley's smoke-emitting guitar went unseen, the thunderous power with which Kiss performed every night came across easily.
Recorded during a 1975 tour, ALIVE may not have matched FRAMPTON COMES ALIVE in sales, ...

| | Milky Wimpshake Lovers, Not Fighters Vinyl LP (2002)
Warrior/He That music CDs
$9.55 Lovers, Not Fighters hit the indie pop scene just in time for summer 2002, providing 15 tracks of smarmy mix-tape fodder to let that someone know they were sort of special. Recalling the straight-faced irony, lo-fi aesthetics, and tuneless vocal charm of Television Personalities, the threesome creates batches of digestible, playful tunes led by Pete Dale's jangly, often distorted guitar melodies, resembling a college-bound Ramones. No song is over three minutes, most are less than two, and each focuses on the daily frustrations of being young, jaded, and in a band. "Philosophical Boxing Gloves" documents an embarrassing conversation with some doctoral student where the hero, the narrator, is too loaded to spar. "Too Much, Too Drunk" is the confessional that follows, and "Bourgeois ...

Warrior/He That songs
$24.49 Traum celebrates 10 years and their 100th vinyl release with a compilation CD chock full of unreleased tracks from artists that have been with them since the beginning: Broker/Dealer, Fairmont, Gabriel Ananda, Jesse Somfay, Process, Dominik Eulberg and Thomas Brinkmann. Traum also boasts a sampling from their current artist roster: Moonbeam, Bukaddor & Fishbeck, Minilogue and Super Flu. The West Coast duo Broker/Dealer opens the CD with a taste of their self-generated melodies that are as smooth and as colorful as ice cream reflecting the summer light. Dominik Eulberg's track is reminiscent of soundtrack music from a '70s hippie movie. Bukaddor & Fishbeck are new on Traum and their track highlights their stunning ability for creating dynamics through small details. Minilogue's "Carnival" is an electronic safari, stripped-down and rhythmical, as opposed to their post-trance past. Thomas Brinkmann returns with a high-energy groove monster with delicately deep moments that will suck you in. Dominik and Riley offer a mix featuring four instruments playing the original melody in variations, creating a euphoric madness. Super Flu's track is a strong tool with a murderous bass line that will corner the dancer on the ...
